The house has an incredible view of the lake from the hot tub, porch, and throughout the kitchen and living area. The yard was large our dogs really enjoyed the space getting to run around the yard. My teenage daughters also really enjoyed the kayaks and paddle board, and we even took a trip to the uninhabited islands on the other side of the lake from the house. Everything you could need is very close, but just be prepared to deal with traffic as Mooresville is growing and struggling to keep up with the infrastructure needed to support it. Overall we really enjoyed out stay here, the layout of the house feels very private, there are games for the kids to play (table tennis, shuffle board, cornhole), the dogs had a great time, and we even enjoyed smores at the firepit using firewood that was provided along with everything needed to make the smores. Would love to come back with friends, as the price is a little high for just a family of 4 with their dogs, but this stay was a last minute switch from another house that had their pool heater stop working 3 days before our trip, so they were very accommodating on short notice.
