It was a very beautiful building, with brick accents that were gorgeous in our room (unit 10). Overall it was a great stay and I’d recommend for people wanting a rustic getaway accommodation!

We stayed in room 8, which has a closet turned into a washroom. Smells funny, ac is crap, floor is soft in areas and feels like you will fall through, minimal parking, bed is on a slant and uncomfortable. Not worth the money

As a result, I ended up staying in another hotel for my 1st night! To a typical traveller, this accommodation leaves a lot to be desired!

Wasnt really worth the money for what it was .. for a single night . My friend broke her foot going through thd second floor door from the patio. No sign saying beware of step . And then no railing on the second stair case to the top floor where our room was . And my friend was stuck up on the top floor until it was time to leave.... she stayed by her self . And there was no one around to help us ...couldnt even offer another room . Not the grwatest owner .. mea .... alil creep

A quick stay in PEI.

Beautiful old building! We shared the suite with friends and it was very cozy! Perfect for a stay in PEI! Very walkable to waterfront restaurants. Well appointed room with basic necessities. Highly recommend.

Perfect location, charming rooms

Absolutely loved it! The architecture of the building is charming. Suite no 6 is vast, has a kitchen (well equiped) and the hotel has lovely terrasses at the back :) Just a stone's throw from downtown. Next time in Charlottetown, I'll be coming back.

A unique heritage suite! If you don’t like character, this is not for you! We loved the outdoor common deck - perfect for morning coffee or an evening cocktail. We were in the John A. McDonald suite, and loved it. Just a note - it IS up a steep staircase, so mobility challenged folk may have trouble getting luggage up there. We would be very happy to stay there again.

Charming older units

Older building with imperfections, but has an older charm. There are nice shared decks/patios but no individual ones. Room was clean, easy to check in. Beds weren't the most comfortable, but overall a neat place.
