“I attended 1st and 2nd grade in this building. It was a throwback to see the old tile floors. It’s a very nice condo. Very clean. Lots of room. Beds are comfortable. Location is good. Overall, it’s a highly recommended place to stay. My standards for a 5⭐️ rating are high, and the difference between 4⭐️ and 5⭐️ is nit-picking little details in comfort and convenience. Nevertheless, this is a place I will definitely want to book again.”

“This was our 2nd time staying here. Clean, roomy. Love the 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths. Walking distance to many great places in Hancock for dinner, drinks, breakfast and bakery items as well as shops. This was convenient for moving our son out of MTU. Also a very comfortable place for my husband and I to work remotely. We brought our dog and walked just down the road to Porvoo Park most mornings. Trails nearby that span for miles. Also, a dog park just a couple of miles away. Just a perfect……

“Perfect place for a weekend college visit to MTU and to explore the Keweenaw Pennisula. Great location right downtown Houghton.”

“The apartment was very cute and stylish. A great repurpose of an industrial building. We enjoyed being in downtown Houghton and being able to walk to restaurants, stores and bars. Our car was able to be parked in a parking lot across the street from the apartment so it was easy to get out of town to explore the Keweenaw. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Houghton.”

“The outside of the building doesn’t represent how the place is on the inside. It’s a nice clean and well taken care of apartment that was comfy to stay in. Relatively quiet just noisy cars driving by at night. Very nice place to stay and a not very far from Houghton so it’s definitely a place I’d revisit.”

“Everything we needed for pick up weekend for my MTU student. The weather wasn’t great, so we didn’t get out as much as we normally do, so it was nice to have a comfortable place to hide out from the rain. ”

“This place was great! Check out the binder with all the local sights, sounds, and eats. The location was a great central point for exploring the Keweenaw Peninsula.”

“The property is very clean and well stocked with anything needed. The location was convenient for visiting my daughter at MTU and for accessing the beauty of Copper country. It was a short drive to Canyon Falls, MTU, and Hancock. We truly enjoyed our stay. My only suggestion would be to add a curtain to the back door, and that is so minor. I most definitely recommend this property to folks visiting the area.”

“Had a great time but a long way to travel and not know what house was mine to stay in. Glad cleaning people showed up or i would been sleeping in my car. They have serval house on property let that person now what house theirs staying i with the correct door code.”

“The unit was just as described and depicted online. The grounds are beautiful and the location is a nice launching off point to Houghton/Hancock or anywhere in the peninsula. Very spacious, comfortable and extremely clean. The owners had all the provisions and supplies we needed for our stay. Highly recommend!!”

“Great location. The only things to consider are the stairs and the slight fish smell in the hallway, which has been mentioned in the other reviews. The smell does not seem to be noticeable in the apartment itself.”

“Were totally blindsided by the outside stairs to access the apartment. We are 79 years old and it was difficult to get our suitcases etc. up the stairs in a safe manner. We did like the fact that the property was clean and well equipped. Dishwasher worked well - coffeepot was adequate. There is a washer and a dryer although we didn't need those. We would have liked information on how to use the television/cable remotes. A neighbor had to show us how to use them. Bring ear plugs for the street……
