"What an excellent hotel!! Moreton is a lovely place anyway, but this hotel is first class Has a lovely stay No car park, but easy to park directly outside on the road Excellent room, unique, cosy, comfy, well furnished Lovely food and excellent service No complaints!!"

"The hotel and grounds are beautiful, with many thoughtful touches. However, our room had extensive black mould on the bathroom ceiling and around the window. We complained and were promptly offered another room, but it appeared that the mould issue came as no surprise to the staff. The housekeeper told us that it had been a problem for a long time. The new room had no mould, but did have a toilet that had not been cleaned. It was quickly taken care of, The breakfasts were excellent, although the tables were so sticky that it was as if the plates and cutlery were glued down. Overall, The Manor House Hotel did not meet expectations for a 4-star property. "

"We stayed here for four nights as a family of four (2 adults and 2 children aged 5 and 9). The cottage was really lovely, set out over three floors, with the top floor being a good sized kids bedroom accessed from the bedroom below. There was always ample parking by the church, so wasn’t an issue not having a dedicated space. A basic starter pack with essentials was provided, although we didn’t do any cooking as we made use of the many pubs and restaurants nearby. We loved having the fire and lit it every night, additional logs and kindling can be purchased from the local co-op. It was a great base to explore the nearby areas during the day and then come back to eat and drink locally. Overall I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this cottage."

"The house is located perfectly in the village and for access to the surrounding area ( Daylesford). Excellent pubs in the village ( the plough and the wild Rabbit). Book ahead though as they are very popular. House was clean. The heating took a while to figure out, however, Olivia was on hand to answer any questions and sort out any issues. Despite the house sleeping 8 people, the sitting room only had one sofa and a couple of chairs. Perhaps could do with another sofa to make it more comfortable. Lovely enclosed garden which was great for our dog. "

"Ideal place for two couples in a comfortable and well appointed cottage, just a very short walk to a nice enough pub, with good food and a bar to watch the sport. Also just a short drive to the lovely towns of Moreton, Stow and Chipping Norton. If I was to be fussy, a shower in the bathroom as well as downstairs would have been good and, although nice and clean, we could not help notice quite a few cobwebs, which I know can be a curse of cottage properties. I would certainly return again but hopefully when the weather is a little better!"
