"Property as described. Perfect for a family stay"

"We stayed in room 5 on the first floor for 2 nights. Pros: great location for visiting the Cotswolds. Stow is a lovely place and the pub is very welcoming. Our room was large and the bed very comfortable and clean. Cons: we could hear the neighbours walking across the floor upstairs late at night. We could also hear them flushing their loo and using the shower. The walls up the stairs to the rooms were very marked and need a good paint refresh. The worst thing for me was the issue with carpet moth, both on the stairs landing and also in the room behind the desk under the tv. It’s so apparent that it’s like an infestation and needs serious pest control attention. It affected my stay as it made the place feel dirty. For that reason I wouldn’t recommend and won’t be returning. It is very overpriced for what you get. "

"Room away from the Bell "

"Room was very small and claustrophobic, heating on full and a window that was extremely difficult to open, very stuffy. Bathroom had a sloping ceiling with a shower head over the taps, making it impossible to use the shower without sitting in the bath. We are in our 60's."

"The house is located perfectly in the village and for access to the surrounding area ( Daylesford). Excellent pubs in the village ( the plough and the wild Rabbit). Book ahead though as they are very popular. House was clean. The heating took a while to figure out, however, Olivia was on hand to answer any questions and sort out any issues. Despite the house sleeping 8 people, the sitting room only had one sofa and a couple of chairs. Perhaps could do with another sofa to make it more comfortable. Lovely enclosed garden which was great for our dog. "

"Such a beautiful cottage - tastefully decorated and so warm and welcoming. Excellent location - short walk to the village and a great starting point to explore The Cotswolds. The attention to detail at Devon House Cottage ensured that we had a comfortable and memorable vacation. The perfect end to our three week holiday throughout in the United Kingdom."

"Whilst it slept 4, we booked it as a couple. We chose this cottage as we wanted the cosey, experience but wanted a pub in walking distance. The home itself was really clean and super cosey. Heating was on for when we arrived which was nice. There was also milk and cake for our arrival which was a lovely touch. The bedding in the second floor bedroom was so lovely. We had a lovely time. We couldn't find a chopping board, unsure if that was just us not being able to find it or whether there was one or not."
