“Staying at a castle is an adventure in and of itself. The owners/our hosts Don and Jennifer, are a delightful young couple who have restored the castle and have been there the past 3 years. Very helpful with anything we needed. The breakfast was wonderful. The view was terrific and we had great fun enjoying a nighttime bonfire under a canopy of brilliant stars. We had a terrific dinner prepared by a French chef, Jean Claude and even went to the market in the morning with him and Don to pick out……

“We had a wonderful week at this most beautiful place despite the weather not being kind to us - a cold wind and rain - but Dominique ensured we had enough wood for the fire and everything we needed. She had thought of everything and left us a beautiful welcome pack. he farm is a haven with the river running along the front and open views across the fields and magnificent horse chestnut trees in flower during our stay. The house has everything you might need and a huge comfortable bed in the……

“A l arrive gîte très propre agencement bien. Discussion avec les proprios tout à fais pars hasard visite de la bergerie (Eric et François ) très sympa. Le plus la piscine malheureusement l était fraîche. Dans un périmètre très proche de nombreux sites à visite. Marché de Riberac, les tourbières, l’église d Aube terre etc…..merci à vous deux. Eric et Stéphanie.”

“A lovely property right on the river, enjoyed a spot of fishing and a nice dip in the river. The only downside was that the steps leading to the property were extremely hazardous when wet.”

“Réunion familiale pour anniversaire des 80 ans du signataire avec épouse, enfants et petits enfants. Nous avons profité d'un somptueux diner préparé et servi à table par un traiteur local. Météo assez froide qui n'a pas empêché de profiter de la piscine chauffée. Le terrain de tennis a été occupé plusieurs heures chaque jour ainsi que la table de pingpong. Nous recommandons ce site.”

“C'était un trop court séjour dans un cadre fantastique avec la rivière l'Isle qui coule en cascade dans un roulement d'eau si agréable. Nous avons bien dormi bercés par cette musique. ”
