“What an amazing stay. 1790s cabin restored in the 80s. Beautiful and still had all we needed for our trip to the lake. We visited historic Bedford during the day and spent our evenings in this beautiful historic cabin. Met the owner Dave and he gave us a full tour and history. He also gave us some great suggestions for places to eat and places to get great views of the area.”

“My husband booked our stay at the cabin which was almost ruined by VRBO from them neglecting to let him know there would be communication outside of the app. We arrived at night so it was dark and hard to see the place because there are no lights. It’s located in a cul de sac and is below street level so you will miss it if you’re not careful. There is a gravel driveway big enough for one vehicle. This is definitely not a home for anyone who cannot walk steps as there are many. The home was……

“We had the best time at this cabin. The view was to die for. The cabin is on a quiet cove which is perfect for swimming and fishing. The walk down to the water is very well maintained and has steps leading to it. There’s a pier to tie your boat up at if you’re bringing one. Only recommendation if you’re bringing a boat is to bring some bumpers since you can only tie up on one side. Easy drop in at Mitchell’s Marina. The house itself was the perfect size. We enjoyed cooking dinner and chatting……

“The Enclave far surpassed our expectations! The houses were gorgeous, well-maintained, and had absolutely everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen had everything to cook huge meals for a huge family. The property was extremely clean. Views were amazing. We loved the fire pits, modern grills, and large game room downstairs. We enjoyed swimming in the lake off of the floating dock. The 3 houses were perfect for our families to spread out. “The Lodge is the epitome of a log cabin stay in the mountains. The house was gorgeous and spacious for everyone in our party. The outdoor firepit was our favorite place to spend in the evenings and the porch overlooking the lake was where we spent our mornings. The steps down to the dock were our only complaint as we did not realize how steep they would be for our 72 year old family member. Otherwise, it was the perfect place for all of us!”

“Surprised my fiancé for his birthday and stayed at this little weekend retreat getaway which we both enjoyed! Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to cook with and the scenery was beautiful 😍 windows everywhere made for amazing mornings watching the sunrise 🌅 my only gripe was that since it was his birthday weekend we were there to relax and not be in a rush to do anything since we don’t vacation much, I had asked the manager if we can do a late check out on our last day and was……
