Fabulous hotel, really loved the eclectic decor throughout and beautiful rooms. Breakfast was amazing and the Staff were all very pleasant and helpful. We would definitely stay here again
The property is in a lovely setting and as the sun was shining we enjoyed an evening glass of wine on the patio looking over the gardens and tipi. The restaurant, public areas and the bedrooms were all pristine and food of a great standard, when in the area we would definitely stay again.
Beautiful stay. Room was amazing. Super clean. Little added touches such as a birthday card and chocolates. Breakfast was lovely and the whole grounds is stunning.
Upgraded to a beautiful suite for a fraction of the advertised rate for our anniversary. Staff are friendly, rooms are large and clean with all needs considered. Live music and bar in the big tent was a bonus too! Lovely breakfast included in the price and dinner deal was great, the food was delicious!

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Friendly staff, good food, quirky decor, different to standard hotels.
Fantastic venue with friendly colleagues. The only point for us was with breakfast. Very good quality produce, We didn't understand why any breakfast other than the full English, and one other item carried a surcharge. Surely an eggs benedict is cheaper to produce than the full English, but carried a £4 surcharge.Would strongly recommend s visit and we would stay again. The complimentary room upgrade was superb.

The staff and the property were good. Unfortunately the drains in the bathroom had an issue. Terrible smell. Reception didn’t apologies or action
This was our first visit to see what it was like to give us future options and to compare it with Doxford Hall where we usually stay for short breaks.
We are sorry to give only 4 stars for this particular stay, the property and room quality were both excellent as were the staff we interacted with but the stay was let down by a problem with shortage of kitchen staff due to illness.
This resulted in a reduced dinner menu from which my Wife could not select something she really liked (ending up with Chicken & Chips - my Mussels & Steak were excellent though). The White Wine was not chilled and the Bacon at breakfast tough and almost uncuttable with normal forces.
Despite the above comments we think that the kitchen problem was a one-off and we will try this Hotel again on future visits to beautiful Northumberland.
