When I arrived, the manager, Luis was very engaged with the young people in two Mercedes cars in front of the Quinta. When he finally acknowledged me, it was to tell me that, despite my having reserved over a month before and having received several confirmations from you, he DID NOT HAVE A ROOM FOR ME!!

A Little Piece of Heaven

we absolutely loved this Quinta. Run by Luis Barosso, whose family bought it thirty years ago. The setting is awesome and the hotel has great charm. It is substantially built but has not been over renovated. Unfortunately the cooked food falls well short of acceptable. The ingredients are from the estate but the belief that vegetables should be boiled for an hour or more is a mistake. The quality of the raw product is good. After all it is a perma-organic farm. The swimming pool is fabulous. We would definitely stay again.
