The bedrooms are perfectly placed with sunrooms attached to two of the rooms with thoughtful amenities provided throughout the home. The coffee and tea pods for the keurig was a nice touch. I spent a few days working remotely, and the wifi was strong and the samsung monitors were a great addition. Boothbay harbor……

“Cottage 2 is a comfy, inviting little house full of charm. The location is convenient for travelers who enjoy town-jumping. Nearby Wiscasset, Damariscotta, and Boothbay will not disappoint. The infamous Red Eats to get your fill of Lobstah, a nice treat at Round Top ice cream too cool off, and the sweetest shops in Boothbay...everything at your fingertips. The nicest close to a wonderful day is returning to Cottage 2; well-appointed, cozy, and that a-a-a-h feeling of going home..”

“The location of King’s Kastle on Salmon Lake is excellent. The lake is wide at that point and offers great views of the sunrise, particularly from the upstairs master bedroom suite. The lake has less development than others where we have stayed in Maine. We enjoyed seeing loons, eagles, and osprey which are abundant. We went in the latter part of August when the kids’ summer camps had closed, which reduced boat traffic. The cottage is roomy and has a long list of amenities. All appliances were……

“The almost permanent view of the lake was magnificent. Since the lake is west of the property, the sunsets are also wonderful. I even took one of the kayaks out to the Lighthouse. Even though it looks far away but it only took about 10 minutes of easy paddling. Great place for a peaceful vacation. Bar Harbour was close enough for quick day trip and then the Loop at Acadia Nat'l Park provided great panoramic views.”

“It was very difficult for me to be in the situation with no Internet and much too far to drive into town every time I needed it. I also didn’t realize that he didn’t supply linens and towels so well though the location was gorgeous those were too big problems for me I really don’t know if I mentioned that on the online booking but I was taken by surprise. The place was a little funky for my taste”

“The listing and house was exactly as expected and even more! Great location off of route one in the adorable town of Damariscotta. Fairly quiet road, and when we did see neighbors passing by everyone was super friendly, offering access to their docks as well. There's a public boat launch a couple hundred feet from the house, so if you have a motor boat or jet skis, that is perfect. Access to the lake was easy and great, and the kayaks provided were so much fun (there are two full size kayaks,……

“The cottage was decorated very nice and the bed and bath linens were high quality. The Wi-Fi networks available were slow and constantly buffering the TV programs. ”

“This is a lovely little cottage cheerfully acquitted with a lovely bedroom and more than enough living room space for my purposes. There is a great showerhead in the bathroom which I used to wash off after three prior days of camping. Very comfortable and clean. Location: I had thought this was closer to the beach or at least a river access point, which was my mistake.It is located in an odd intersection near the highway. You can hear the highway from the room. Those are the only reason I give……
