“We wanted to stay in an older type residence while spending time sightseeing and at the nearby zoo. Super cool place with everything you need for a quiet country stay. The host Marie was wonderful and welcoming. We didn’t speak French and she didn’t speak English but we made it work just fine. If you want a place to get away from the hurry and bustle I would 10/10 recommend. ”

“The apartment is helpfully located near Tours city centre and is about a 25-minute walk from the station. It is very basic, but is clean, comfortable, and has everything you need for a stay: the excellent shower is definitely a highlight. The spiral staircase up the first floor is very steep and tight, so do bear that in mind. Finally, be warned that there are no fans (let alone air conditioning) in the apartment, so it is stiflingly hot in the heat. I appreciate this is not the host's fault,……
