The cost of this resort is too high. A room service and buggy ride calls are very slow. The cost of the restaurant is very high and not worth it. A2B is very close to this resort. This restaurant is ideal for both lunch and dinner. We had an issue with room allocation. After two hours of check-in time, Radisson staff (Rahul) helped us resolve the issue.

The Radisson Blu Resort was one of the best places we have stayed as a family. My entire family (including kids) liked the place and in fact were adamant to extend the trip. Will visit again for sure to explore more things in and around the resort.

For the area I would give this property 4 stars. It is a small fishing town and besides the monuments and shopping there isn’t too much to do. The beach is nice but dirty. There is trash everywhere. The pool is very pleasant. The rooms are basic but the bed was very comfortable. We did bot have hot water but because it was warm I didn’t mind too much the cold water. Food was descent.

Disappointing
I had 2 rooms for 3 days to spend some quiet time with my family. Last day I had a friend visit me and she was not allowed entry to the property or go sit by the beach. We were made to sit at the front lobby from 6am to 7.30am before I could take her to breakfast and say goodbye. If GRT thinks they own the beach so be it but you have no right to disrespect your guest or their visitors esp when the rule was not stated or documented anywhere. Train your staff to use their brains and discretion to provide better customer experience. Very disappointed with this treatment. GRT management owes an apology to my friend.

Location is great. The employees are good and friendly when talked to. Breakfast was just ok. Swimming pool was not open for use but looked dirty in general. Painful to walk on the rough pavements everywhere. Slow Buggy service - 30 mins wait times. Stinking Bathrooms always moist no ventilation. Fluctuating power - turns off every now and then - atleast 3 times every hour. Absolutely zero marks to this resort on Accessibility/wheelchair. No ramps whatsoever for wheelchair. Indoor sports not air-conditioned.. and slow fans, too sweaty. Kids play area outdoor full of weeds & bugs/insects. Garden view rooms are really forest view rooms. Too many flies/mosquitoes everywhere. No wheelchair ramps on the walkway to the beach. No real lawns to play badminton/cricket etc. Toilet flush tank was dripping water all the time - so much water wasted. Complimentary fruit plate provided after long delay and upon multiple requests. In-room dining service is the slowest ever experience… the location of our room far from the kitchen could be the reason but it was frustrating nevertheless.

Weekend well spent here!
Had good fun over the weekend, top notch cleanliness during these covid times. Good food option and really sumptuous breakfast. But some minor niggles like mix and match switches in the room, rusty parts in decorative lights and mainly very noisy bed/mattress.. not the kind of things I expected from a five star property. Overall had a good time :)

The hotel was great in terms of location and proximity to the town. The beach was clean and secure. However, there were some facilities which didn’t feel like a 5* star hotel - service wasn’t great, the staff weren’t cordial when it came to discussing change of rooms, rooms & furnitures weren’t spot clean like other similar 5* properties. Overall my rating would be 3.5/5. I was disappointed with the in room facilities, features and service. But the location and property as a whole was fantastic, the breakfast spread was pretty amazing.

The resorts grounds and food are amazing; but the rooms are beginning to show their age. Our first room's floor got drenched in water that wasn't draining away. The hotel did immediately give us a replacement room that didn't have this problem; so we're very happy with their service; but the condition is a problem.

Highly recommend
We had a great stay and the place and staff are exceptional. The property is definitely high end and so are the amenities. Their infinity pool is the definitely a highlight, our son was amazed beyond words.

We were a couple and wanted to visit the tourist attractions in Mahabs so booked the hotel for 2 nights. The property is pretty massive and neatly maintained. Kudos to the staff on that. The swimming pool spans the entire length of the property with the chalet rooms on either side facing the pool. They have a nice viewing deck from where you can see hundreds of crabs on the beach which was cool. The beach isn't private though and you get a strong fish smell if you walk a few metres along the coast. The room wasn't up to the mark. The bed was massive and comfortable and the room was spacious. It looked great and had a good view, but the bathrooms could be better. It seemed old and definitely needed some upkeeping. Breakfast was also good with a wide variety of lacto-ovo vegetarian options. Property is close to Adayar Ananda Bhavan if you crave for good veg meals too. Check-in was smooth but check-out was annoying as they wanted to double check the mini bar causing a delay. 8.5 out of 10 for the whole experience.

Stunning location but a bit shabby and dirty now
A fabulous location and great view from the infinity pool with direct access to beach also. Enjoyed views from beach side chalet also. Worth paying for. On the down side this is not at international standards in terms of maintenance or cleanliness. Had to have cigarette butts cleared from my balcony and the lawn in front of chalet from previous guests. Some facilities shabby looking and inside room quite worn in places, esp the bathroom. Also nearly an hour wait for check in so missed some time for pool in the sun, but did give additional hour for check out next day but only reluctantly.

The pool is amazing. And they have two of them! The property is expansive and the chalets around the pool are very good. There were some issues that we had with our room not being cleaned and the minibar/fridge cabinet being locked. There was also an issue with the airconditioner which took a very long time to resolve. However, upon complaining they were able to get things fixed quickly, but not before we escalated the issue. The restaurant was really good, the food and service were excellent. The breakfast buffet was expansive and had a lot of variety and the food was delicious. Check in took a long time. Overall the property is great.
