All We Needed and Very Comfortable!

We visited the Appaloosa 2 while we were in the area checking out the national park and a few other nearby attractions. We had three small children with us and the cabin was clean and completely accommodating. The back porch overlooking the Oconaluftee was a real treat, as was the riverside area below the cabin. It's secluded enough for adequate privacy but not so much so that you can't quickly drive to nearby attractions. It was about 10 minutes to the Oconaluftee Visitor Center and a short drive to Bryson City, Sylva and Cherokee--all worth exploring. We had a great time and would recommend.

A little get away

A very nice little cabin great view love the property overlooks the river me and my sister and a friend had a really nice time there and we didn’t wanna leave caught a couple of fish I would highly recommend it and hope it’s available the next time I wanna do that again

Amazing little getaway and convenient loctions

Cabin was so clean and so close to the casino and shopping centers. We will definitely be booking again when we come back to visit. Also saw some turkeys around the cabin and loved being so close to the river. You won’t be disappointed if you book this cabin.

Weekend getaway

It was amazing sitting on the porch looking down at the water flowing down stream the cabin itself was great cozy and comfortable the stores and casino was very convenient to go to I would recommend anyone that needs a peaceful place to stay to book here think about it and make it your next adventure

Great cabin with a beautiful view

It's a small cabin with a beautiful view of a river. It's very close to Cherokee and was really more than what we were expecting. The cabin is small and cozy and the owners were responsive and friendly.

Father , son and friends getaway

Best Trout Fishing

We loved staying at the cabin! Nothing could beat the front porch rocking chairs, the fishing opportunities, the fresh mountain air and convenience to food/shopping/museum and entertainment. Really hated to leave!!!

This is a wonderful cabin to stay in. So clean and comfortable. This place is so quiet and just a great place to unwind and get away. This is our go to place every time we visit Cherokee. Great communication with a super nice property owner. We cant wait to come back

Great cabin

Cabin was nice cozy and clean! Listening to the river run was so peaceful after a long day of shopping and sight seeing. My husband and I really enjoyed stay; we were visiting the area for our honeymoon- as well as my birthday! Beds were comfy, and everything was just as expected by the listing. We will definitely be back!

Better than pictures

Great location, close proximity to Cherokee and Bryson City. Beautiful wide river out the back deck with a short trail to reach it. Even saw two huge elk across the street both nights! Clint was very friendly and accomodating. Charcoal grill in good shape, fire pit in good shape, porch and porch chairs were great. Didn't spend too much time inside with how beautiful it was outside!
