my family and I stayed at hotel during Christmas week while visiting family in Sylva. We were assigned Room 416. Upon arrival, it was apparent that the room may not have been serviced in a while . I noticed bugs in the window area, which raised immediate concern. As I typically do when entering a hotel room, I checked the space to ensure everything was safe and clean. In the bathroom, there was a loose tile next to the tub that I nearly tripped over, posing a safety hazard. Additionally, after showering that evening, we discovered blood on the towels. There was also denture adhesive on the back of the sink, which was very concerning. We noticed stains on the comforter, which added to our discomfort during the stay.

In all fairness, the front desk person did tell me that the hotel was scheduled for renovation. That does not explain why the front desk would remained unmanned for up to an hour or why the rooms were not cleaned for the entire 6 day stay. I will say I was very pleased with the quiet toilets.

The staff from check-in throughout the whole trip was amazing and the hotel was very clean as well as the room. The beds were very comfortable as well. Overall it was a great stay and I will definitely stay again if I’m in the area.

I have to say location to things is great. Customer service is okay. Rooms need to be updated and cleaned completely as we had to move rooms with a baby. First room bugs in windows area, dirt around bed area, and musty smelling in room, no working refrigerator. Second room, smelt like cigarette smoke, also the musty smell, and on top of it our second night started smelling like something was on fire and looked out window to smoke from fire pit area pulling into our room. Very concerning with our little baby and if she wakes up sick smelling it. The only advice front desk advised was move rooms however get this 900pm and our baby is asleep. I asked the curfew and they said we'll 10pm. This place needs to be considerate of families and locations of stuff and if its happening maybe that curfew time needs to change. So let's just say we hope our child doenst wake up sick from this as we cant just move for the 3rd time waking our baby up. Disappointed as pictures dont compare to actually staying here. To be honest, I would like to have a refund for this and the headache having to move rooms all to deal with more complaints in the second room with a baby.

Staff was nice but had to try to find a front desk attendant both checking in and out. Room looked clean, but smell old and musty. There was a hole in the sink. 3 electrical outlets didn’t work. Breakfast was limited, but ok. Needs updating very badly. I wouldn’t stay here again.
