The room smelled like a wet dog. The floor could use a good scrubbing. Socks and feet were dirty after just taking shoes off to go to bed. Staff was ok. Kind of short when we checked in. But it was close to the museum and other thing we wanted to visit while there.

The hotel is in a central location near restaurants, shopping and right across a river. The owners Mark and Sue were outstanding. They made us feel at home. Breakfast was great (included with our stay). There was plenty of parking.

Outstanding place to stay. The mountain view I had while eating breakfast was outstanding. Check in was probably the easiest I've ever had anywhere. Nice, quiet and easy access to the park and river walk and the casino. I plan on staying here next time I come the Cherokee.

Room was extremely small, tv only local cable and picture was fuzzy most of the time according to the channel you were watching. Bathroom was a decent size other than the vanity extremely small wasn’t able to hold makeup curling iron at the same time. Room was musty smelling and floors were dirty couldn’t go barefooted without feet get dirty. The breakfast that was made to order only consisted of a breakfast tortilla with your choice onions peppers and mushrooms which was our only choice for our entire stay.

Our room was small and had very little room to move around. There were 5 puffy throw pillow on our bed along with 3 bed pillows. I hate extra pillows as the covers are often dusty and dirtly and not needed in a room so small. Recepticles were difficult to find and there were no ports for electronic charging. The best part was the large covered porch/patio area where we ate a home cooked tortilla breakfast sandwich with fresh fruit and a small pastry. We very much enjoyed sitting and watching the birds and wildlife.
