“Property was as described. Host was able to be contacted for any issues that arose. The hosts also graciously provide k-cup coffee and kindling for the riverside fire pit. The area is nicely remote enough to be quiet but close enough that a 20 min ride gets you most anything you’d need. One word of advice is that if you plan on a having a fire over a few nights time then it might be better to bring your own wood or ask the host for a contact for wood delivery. You will spend a small fortune if……

“Nice cottage close to downtown- very clean! Will stay again!”

“It was the top of the mountain! The location was perfect. My uncle and I fished the local rivers and we had access to miles and miles of fishing within minutes of the cabin. Very clean. Owner was very responsive. The only minor reason for a 4 rating was the hot top jets didn’t work on the high setting. Otherwise the cabin is perfect. Great stay!”

“My husband and I stayed at Steps away cottage with our friends who are also married. The online listing for the cottage is exactly what you get and more! This place exceeded our expectations. The decor is so adorable and feels like home. The cottage is stocked with everything you could possibly need for a vacation. The hot tub was so fun! We used it every night. We walked everywhere in Waynesville for meals and shoppes. We will definitely be rebooking if we ever get back to the area. Do not miss……

“This cabin was near what we wanted to do: visit Cherokee and hike in the mountains. It was also a great place to return to at the end of the day. The porch overlooking the river was spectacular. The cabin had a "woodsy" feel to it and was very quiet. The beds were comfortable. Clint was communicative as needed. We especially appreciate that he contacted us promptly when he discovered that we left a pair of glasses behind. He offered to send them to us and refused payment, event for postage.”
