“Wonderful place, owner was amazing. Be aware that it’s not a hold on your card for the large deposit. They actually take and refund it after your stay.”

“We booked a last minute stay here and it turned out to be a really cool addition to our road trip. It is even more secluded than we had imagined. The house had everything we needed and was very clean. I would stay here again if I end up crossing through this part of MO on a future trip”

“We were pleased with the cleanliness and extra amenities . Very comfortable. The only problem we had was the code for the door was suppposed to be sent to us on Thursday. We never did receive it so I called our host when we arrived at the property. She was kind enough to give it to me over the phone. The house had an abundance of live crickets but everything else was great!”

“We love this peaceful location and really enjoyed the horses and the creek on property! We explored Cuba Steeleville, St. James and a little bit of Route 66. Great little spot.”

“Loved this little hidden getaway. Had a girls weekend/float trip. The outdoor covered patio was our main hangout. It was perfect for the rain we had all weekend. Very nice secluded area. The host does a great job responding quickly. We will be back!!! ”

“House is clean and adequate. Decor is very dated. No TV. No outdoor seating. Very dim lightbulbs. No central air but plenty of window units to keep house cool when we were there ( wasn’t too hot yet).”

“Cabin was awesome very clean area was beautiful”

“This is a clean, comfortable, well-appointed yurt on an absolutely beautiful piece of property. It is quiet and feels isolated. A great place to relax. Our dog had a blast running around the property, chasing squirrels. Our only regret was that we only had time to stay one night. We hope to return sometime for a multi-day stay.”

“Clean and perfect set up for traveling with your dogs. More space than we needed really and a huge fenced yard. Cozy and right in the forest. Would come back :)”

“We loved the setup, seclusion, and the attention to detail. The bathhouse is also so clean and well stocked. ”

“The place is very roomy & decor really cute. Everything was very clean. Loni was a big help with the GPS directions being weird.”

“Beautiful place peaceful booked for my boys and there friends for the weekend they loved the place 10/10 will recommend to anyone”

“Cutest little farmhouse ever!!! We were super excited to see the cows next to us. They added even more charm. The house was well stocked with Kitchen utensils, cookware , SPICES, towels , couch blankies, everything. Very well maintained and decorated. I would highly recommend.”

“Workers are very friendly. Unfortunately the room itself was disappointing.Beds came unmade, not an issue. However, the sheets provided do not fit the bed.Photo of the bathroom in the listing is not the actual bathroom of the cabin. Shower was small and stained. Bathroom fan did not work. Drop ceiling in the bathroom was warped and falling.Room had significant staining on the ceiling. No deadbolt on the main door, only relying on the hotel style keycard lock. Overall. It was a place to stay.……
