It is a budget friendly property. Feels kind of like a hostel with private rooms. But the place is very traditional with hanging plants and lots of old hard wood fixtures. The staff are very friendly

Beautiful place

A really pleasant place to stay. The owner and staff are really friendly, the decor is beautiful, plus it has a big swimming pool. We arrived really early and got checked in early as there was a free room. There’s free coffee in the lobby plus you can get organized trips easily. The bed was a little hard for me but everything else was really amazing, all at a cheap price.

Great spot and great room to share between friends but the beds are extremely hard - just a boxspring and made it very difficult to sleep.

The staff was incredibly friendly and nice. However the room was incredibly hot due to the poor AC, it nearly impossible to sleep, the bathrooms were horrendous, and I got sick due to the uncleanliness of the room. While the room appeared neat, it was obvious that it is not deep cleaned and has a ln extremely dangerous level of mold / germs. I ended up buying a different hotel room to sleep in because I literally could not sleep there one more night. Other people in my group experienced the same thing as well. My symptoms would improve within an hour of leaving the room, and would worsen immediately upon breathing the air in my room. At the hotel I ended up booking I was completely fine, had no symptoms, and woke up feeling great. Also, one of our showers had no hot water while the other had no cold. Again, the staff was very friendly and helpful, but the conditions of the room were unlivable and should be inspected by a health department.

The room was dark, no character, just a load of rules stuck to the wall. The building it self is rather beautiful,but the rooms are really not welcoming at all. We booked 2 rooms for 3 nights.

Smells cannot be helped, I guess— due to the age of the bldg and proximity of the moat— but fresh paint, more than one channel TV, newer furniture- and bathrooms would do to start with! Staff is awesome— but the bldg is not.

Great budget hotel with a pool.

We arrived on the 04:00am train from Bangkok, they allowed us to check in at midday instead of 2pm. The room was a nice size, but in 6 days my room was never cleaned once. The pool was chilly but clean and a nice size - great for a swim to cool off. The receptionist were really friendly. The hotel is in a fantastic location, with plenty to see and do just within walking distance. The bathroom was a wet room, so everything gets soaked, but overall, for a budget hotel with a pool it was fine. I would stay again. Don’t expect luxury at these prices, no problems for us.

C’est notre deuxième séjour à cet hôtel. Nous apprécions particulièrement l’ambiance exotique du lobby et la dimension extraordinaire de la piscine. C’est un endroit calme pour relaxer lors de chaudes journées. Le personnel est charmant. Comme plusieurs vieilles hôtels 2 étoiles de la vieille ville, nos attentes sont modestes sur les installations et en accord avec les bas coûts.

Petit déjeuner très correct. La décoration est vraiment dans son jus, ça a un côté année 70/80 que j'apprécie. Un bon coup de peinture ne ferait pas de mal dans les chambres.

Härlig atmosfär

Perfekt läge på trevligaste hörnan av gamla staden. Personalen var underbar och bidrog till en hemtrevlig och lättsam atmosfär i de gemensamma utrymmena. Positivt med gratis kaffe och te i lobbyn. Rummet var rent och funktionellt men definitivt i behov av renovering. Överlag är vi mycket nöjda och bokar troligen samma hotell nästa gång.

Sehr schöner Garten und Aufenthaltsbereich. Pool liegt leider im Schatten. Zimmer sind relativ klein und werden nur auf Anfrage gereinigt. Das klappt aber sehr gut.
