Great hotel, not the most central location but quite peaceful. But as we rented a car the location out of the city center was perfect to go explore as you skip the crazy traffic in the city center Service was great and the free driver to old town is great Personally I think the pool area needs a upgrade or some extra details to make it match the hotels. We stayed in the penthouse suite which was one of the best hotel rooms we ever stayed in Breakfast is a la carte which is a nice touch instead of the usual buffets recommendations from here

Direkt am Fluss Ping gelegen, allerdings auch ca. 10min Fahrtzeit von der Altstadt entfernt. Dennoch sehr schönes, Thai Hotel, mit super freundlichem und motiviertem Personal. We were picked at the airport by hotel staff and it was very convenient. We had a nice welcome at the reception with the fresh coconut drinks and cake for our honeymoom, the room set up was very nice and cozy. We also loved the al carte breakfast. The staff was amazing and accommodating. This location is pretty discrete but we ended up loving it because it was easy to get out of for the day. Plus side there’s a 7-11 across the street. I stayed in The Chiang Mai Riversid Hotel from 30 Nov to 03 Dec 2025 the hotel is Great Thai Hotel, Highly complementing the staff at this hotel, they are welcoming, sincere, formative, attractive and attentive and helpful. They beyond excellent, they went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They took great care of us throughout our visit. The service made our experience feel warm and comfortable. The breakfast was great, a lot of food and good variety. Room was great and fantastic. The bed was firm, and the pillows were relatively comfortable. The only comment is that the bathroom was dark and the shower area too small, recommend to install rain fall shower instead of normal shower. If I get the chance to go back to Chiang Mai, I would 100% stay at this hotel again. Well done, team, keep up the good work

Best hotel

This hotel is truly the best choice for your stay! The staff is incredibly welcoming and provides top-notch service, while the cleanliness is impeccable 100% on both. Although the hotel is about 3-4 km from the market, transportation is very affordable with Tuk Tuk and Grab. If we ever return, this will undoubtedly be our first choice. The rooms are well-equipped with a dining table, gas stove, and a TV loaded with applications, plus complimentary water bottles. The view from the room is fantastic, adding to the overall experience. The hotel perfectly blends luxury and boutique-style interiors, making for a comfortable and stylish stay. Don’t hesitate to book your stay here, and you’ll absolutely love it!

One of the best places we have ever stayed. It was a few minutes from downtown but we had the hotel driver take us to several areas in town on our request. He was not only on time but early every day waiting on us. . The staff went out of their way to help with all our needs. My wife’s shoes were severely wet from a Toto the National Park and the staff helped with an extra fan so the she’s would be dry before or our flight in the morning. The rooms and service are well deserving of a five star rating. We left for a five star hotel in Phuket and the Chiang Mia Riverside is head and shoulders above the hotel in Phuket. Thank you Chiang Mia Riverside for such a great experience. We may not be back to Chiang Mia but we will refer our family and friends who plan on visiting.

極失望的一間酒店，來之前所有評價都說早餐是可以於房間內享用，但來到第一晚前台女職員說因我是經由Hotel. Com預訂，不是由他們公司預約，所以不能，只 可在酒店餐廳進食，此已令我十分不滿意，在哪裡預訂對你們有分別嗎？ 。 在最後一天，我們還未醒來，前台不斷打電話要求我們將車子交還，有租車公司來取車。 十分奇怪，我們租車是直接交還機場的。 於是我還穿著睡衣跑到前台了解後，原來根本不是我的租車公司，你們可以問清楚才通知客人，核對清楚車牌，為何一朝早嘈醒客人。所以前台職員根本不負責任，事後連一句不好意思打擾了你都沒有，簡直氣炸。
