“Beautiful view, clean and cozy cabin. The host is very nice and responsive.”

“Provide details of how to access the hotel prior to booking”

“10/10 stay! The host was incredibly responsive and communicated clearly throughout. The property was easy to find, the Wi-Fi was strong, and the atmosphere was so peaceful. I only stayed one night, but I already wish it had been longer! The cherry on top was the complimentary snack basket—a thoughtful touch that made the stay even more special. Swipe to see the view from the bed… absolutely beautiful!”

“PROS: VIEW Cons: The listing is heavily misrepresented. This is a multi-unit complex called Baba Yaga with zero privacy; grounds crews work on paths all day and the glass villa has no curtains despite existing rods. The villa lacks basic habitability: broken microwave, unanchored sliding fridge, no utensils, broken toilet, loose insecure door knobs, and wide gaps in doors. With no window or door screens, it gets dangerously hot, but opening doors invites severe bug infestations. The map……

“Nice place”

“Cute room with fantastic daily cleaning by lovely lady. Great view, just as advertised. Quick access to lakefront restaurants or tuktuk ride up to Santa Cruz. Like everything around Lake Atitlan, the climb is up or down…not a problem for us, but could be with heavy suitcases.”

“Worst experience ”

“This property is advertised as a two bedroom two bath. It is not true. When you get is a one bedroom, one bath with a bedroom being on the second floor in the bath on the first floor and a very, very tight dangerous spiral stairs between the downstairs and the bedroom upstairs. Turns out they say a second bed and bath is in a shack on the property that is now being used for storage. Regarding the property that you do get, the second floor bedroom is wood flooring that pops and creeks tremendously……

“If you do stay in one of the properties this guy owns do NOT give him cash! He is a scammer, asked us to pay him cash because according to him he had not received payment from Vrbo/HomeAway and our pending charge on our credit card would be removed. He charms you with good customer service and seems trust worthy but DO NOT GIVE HIM CASH! We've been trying to get a refund for almost a year now and Vrbo hasn't done anything about it either! Will be reporting them to the BBB as well because they……

“Overall extremely poor. Construction littered the property, loud bangs and tools served as an alarm clock at 6am until the afternoon. Check in took long as the Vrbo listing address takes you very far from where the house actually is and communication proved to be difficult as well. Also lack of direction with garbage leading to a strong odor”

“Todo bien la estadia gracias”

“Súper lindo todo gran lugar solo que no está en San Juan ni en san Pedro está en medio y es complicado llegar”
