「We had a great stay to visit our family over the week of 4th of July. The home is nicely updated with fantastic views of the Esopus creek and the lighthouse. Great location. Very quiet and relaxing. The back porch is a highlight with lots of room, a great grill, lights, and fans. The back wall of doors allows full views to the creek from inside. The yard is nicely landscaped. We had a boat and the dock was perfect for lots of fishing as well. I would definitely stay again. 」

「Hightop House was very comfortable. It was nicely furnished, spotless & thoughtfully stocked with things like coffee, condiments & toiletries. The location is central and within a convenient walking distance to the Stockade area & shops. The house borders a nice neighborhood & a somewhat shabby one, though it felt safe enough. It’s also situated on a busy street, so a light sleeper might not want to choose the front bedroom. But all in all we enjoyed our stay!」
