Chimney Rock Wildlife Management Area

I scheduled this because it had a published free shuttle service to O'Hare and when we checked in, they said there was also a five dollar credit in the snack bar. They said they were going to charge me a fee for potential incidentals and then refund it when I checked out. They pre-charged $75 and refunded only $52. I called to ask why I did not get the full refund since I have no incidentals and they said they charge a “destination fee” for the shuttle service and the workout facilities and the snack bar. I cannot stand deceptive, bait and switch practices by businesses therefore I give this hotel a poor rating. They publish one price and then charge you more after you arrive. If they’re going to charge you, it should just be in the price.

Room was clean, but kinda noisy. I prefer hotels with a free breakfast.

Nice
