「This is my favorite place to stay in the Rice Lake area. It is a charming lodge tucked away in a quiet spot right on the lake. Expect beautiful vistas year round. Each room is designed uniquely, several are pet friendly. Each has a view of and access to the lake. The staff/owners are friendly and accommodating. There are complementary non-motorized water activities in the summer and nightly campfires. Breakfast is fruit and a locally baked scone. There is nothing hotel-chain about this place. 」

「We absolutely loved our weekend at the cabin! The weather was perfect and the cabin was plenty big for our families, with 16 children total! We look forward to returning here again to make even more memories!」

「The house has a very eclectic barn feel to it with raw wood throughout. It also feel like a barn in the sense that it was pretty dirty. The floors needed to be swept and the bathrooms (showers) were not really clean. This house does not sleep 10! We had 5 adults and 5 kids and one adult slept on a couch and one kid slept on a blow up mattress. I messaged the owner about this when we arrived and never heard anything back. The location is interesting, essentially down a small unpaved field road...

「The place is old but generally nice and well maintained. There are several trip hazards from uneven surfaces on the backside of the building along the lake. My husband tripped in the dark (no drinking involved) and was lucky to not seriously injure himself. The room was clean adequate. The only issue with the room was the bed. If you like a very firm memory foam mattress you would rate the stay higher than us. My husband was hot and I can’t sleep on such a firm mattress. We did appreciate the...
