“The cottage was great! Overall, the place was very thoughtfully furnished, and we really enjoyed our stay. We did find a number of dishes in the cabinets that hadn't been cleaned well, and we were disappointed the oven couldn't be turned up to a medium or high cooking temperature, but those were minor issues.”

“Just what I expected of a cottage. Very comfortable, too. Negatives were: It is on a very busy street. Water did not flow very well out of the shower head.”

“The property was close to the village centre. It had its own parking space. Inside it had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The outdoor patio area had a table and chairs but was small.”

“The cottage was ideally situated for a Cotswolds vacation, and the village of Blockley was very cute and non-touristy, with a nice pub and cafe. The house was in excellent condition when we arrived, just as it had appeared in photos. Lauren was a terrific host, answering questions right away and providing excellent suggestions for restaurants, walks, etc. In addition to her usual welcome basket (which was excellent, as noted in many other reviews), she left us a bottle of champagne because she……

“I had a superb stay, the property was extremely well-equipped. Communication on how to find and pick up keys was very well done, all in all, I would strongly recommend, this made for a far more relaxed stay than hotels which I would usually use for my business trips. ”

“A beautiful, well appointed 17th century cottage, just what I wanted. However, because of its age, there were a number of trip hazzards for we 75yr + guests and one serious drop for the unaware. However, once over jet lag and used to its quirks, the cottage was superb. The VRBO website indicated the house was at Moreton on Marsh (think flat land) but was actually Bourton on Hill, so a car is absolutely necessary. Overall, a wonderful holiday.”

“Rose Cottage 2 is set in the most beautiful part of Chipping Campden. The cottage is really special and totally charming and has everything you need. It does need a thorough spring clean, but we had a super week and were really sad to leave. Would love to return next year.”
