“What stuck out was the fact that the place was clean for the most part. The driveway in was a bit uneasy as there had been a lot of rain and the it is not paved. Muddy and slippery conditions. There is a lot of steps.....not a problem but tedious bringing in luggage up the steps. My biggest issue was the fridge was not working. Other amenities questionable. “Nice house overall. The backyard and pool were well maintained. The main attraction is the deck overlooking the ocean. Spectacular. The interior of the house (furniture, beds, appliances, etc) could use some updating. The open air living room is a nice feature but, obviously, this means the living room and kitchen are not air conditioned. Keep that in mind. “We had a wonderful stay at the “Jones Villa”. The owner and house keeper were extremely helpful and super friendly, even going as far as help setting up a car rental. There is a beach a short walk away and several small places to get food around. Highly recommend for your trip to Barbados”

“Barbados is a beautiful island! The location of the rental was perfect - a short, easy walk to the beaches and restaurants. However, the property as a whole was neglected inside and out. The pictures and information provided by the host were outdated and, in some cases, no longer valid. My husband and I like to eat in some of our meals while on vacation, but we found the kitchen filthy. We had to wash all cooking pots, pans, utensils, plates, glasses, etc twice before using them. “The villa is way better than pictured. Also Danielle was very helpful. There were 9 of us here with plenty of room. Everything was easy to get to and not far away. We rented a van and drive was not that bad even on the left side. We had some minor hot water issues but Danielle diligently attended too and after a lot of work was able to fix for us. The island and villa are beautiful as we all truly enjoyed ourselves and would love to return one day. ”
