“The house is lovely with direct views of the water. The owners have obviously put in alot of time making it comfortable. We cooked and the kitchen had pots/pans enought to make meals. It is small, just the right size for a couple, but the bed was comfortable, and everything was clean and well-decorated. As others have said, there isn't a walkway up to the house, but as long as you don't have any mobility issues, it is really fine. We had our VT son with us for a weekend; it was a night away for……

“This was our second stay at the cow house with our sheltie, Bear. I love that it is in the country, but only about 15 min from Blacksburg. We love to watch the cows walk through and drink from the river that runs just by the house. Beautiful views, sweet smells of the countryside, and wonderful accommodations. We will be back!”

“The house was super cute! Nice area under deck for our grandson to swing and also play with his trucks. Outside deck was great to sit on to have coffee. Stream was nice to check out rocks and look for little fish. Lots of yard to play catch and run around. Was even able to see a Bald Eagle. Great too that you can bring a dog. Only 5 minutes from great restaurants, coffee places and the children’s museum. Again the house was so great!”
