"Hotel Okada is slightly further from the Station so recommend arranging Taxi services ahead of time if necessary. Location is an older location but very well maintained. "We stayed a total of three nights in April 2025. Very nice hotel with good dining as long as you plan and book in advance. It has public sauna and Onsen that we enjoyed. The biggest thing we liked was Mt. Fuji view from the terrace, it was breathtaking. As the hotel is located on a small hill, you need to book the shuttle down to the Yamanakako lake area or book a taxi at the front desk."

"Very spacious for a room of 2. Nice view from living room and bathroom. Onsan is a big bathroom which i expect it’s a natural hot spring. Buffet is great as breakfast. It will be great if can offer free tableware as there’s a kitchen inside the room . I asked the staff to give me a plate to reheat food but extra charges are required. "

"I originally planned to say at a ryokan, but since I'm traveling during busy season they traditional ones were all sold out. I stumbled upon this property, and I'm so glad I did. I would recommend this property to everyone staying in Hakone. It's central, but more than that it's gorgeous. The garden itself is beautiful with cherry blossoms (during season) and koi fish.
