"Roland's ADU Guest Cottage is a solid 10 out of 10! We were having work done on our home nearby and had to be out for 3 nights. We were thrilled to find this gem so close by!Everything is virtually brand new and 1st class. Great view from the patio and Jacuzzi, well-equipped kitchen with all the accessories you'll need and 2 spacious bedrooms with very comfortable beds with lovely linens. Though the cottage is very close to the main house it feels extremely private. This is the perfect spot for a family visiting Thousand Oaks and is especially convenient for anyone visiting CLU or attending graduation services.Thanks Roland!"

"It is a solid building. We stayed during Christmas. There was a horrible storm, the kids were so frightened with the sounds at night. When we looked in the morning, it was just the trash cans. They thought the little house was going to blow down, there was no damage at all. The rooms were as shown in the photos. The kitchen worked for baking pies and sides for the family meal. The bed was much softer than mine. I wish we had made it to the panadaria (bakery) in the shopping area, it looked good. "

"The accommodation was excellent - very clean with a very comfortable lounge area and kitchen. Ideally suited for Cal Lutheran University and access to restaurants, shops and tourist places. Off road parking and a very nice private outside area for chilling. The host was very responsive to any queries and was very accommodating when we enquired about an additional night. Would highly recommend."

"Listing is extremely confusing. Beware when booking that 3bed/3bath literally means 3 beds. Not bedrooms. There are two beds in one bedrooms and they count that as part of the 3bed description. We were asked to pay an additional 300 to unlock the 3rd bedroom in the same house. Don’t get confused like I did. "
