"A very clean well-maintained historical hotel. If you want amenities such as room service then this is not for you but there are incredible bars, cafes and restaurants nearby. The famous monastery is a couple of minutes away and a taxi drive to the railway is cheap and reliable. I enjoy staying in hotels with a sense of history so this was perfect for me."

"The room was very clean and breakfast was good - we were on the ground floor - would suggest getting a first floor room as we could here the water falling in our room from the shower and the toilet - apart from that I would recommend this property"

"Good hotel close to the road. The only problem we experienced during the stay is that we could hear neighbours speak really late at night. So the soundproofing was not great."
