"Fantastic location. The staff are so helpful, attentive, warm and friendly. We received a generous upgraded room at check in and were also delivered a welcome gift of fruit and sweet and savoury snacks/treats brought to our room just after we arrived. Our room was so unbelievably comfortable, and maid service was perfection, always on hand to replenish toiletries, mini bar or assist to any request. Cinque Terre Gateway truly did welcome us and made us feel at home!! Breakfast was also amazing with excellent choices of foods at breakfast and a great variety of options."

"This is an amazing property located slap bang in the centre of La Spezia old town with restaurants, bars, cafés and independent shops on the doorstep. We had the duplex suite with a large lounge-diner area and bathroom downstairs, then a bedroom with massive bath tub and a further bathroom upstairs. The finish and cleanliness are exceptional with the room serviced daily. Despite the size of the apartment, there isn’t a kitchen but plenty of affordable places within a minutes walk. I think the only possible issue was the very steep stairs that might not be good for older guests or young children. All said, we’ll definitely be back again."
