“Hotel Monika was a wonderful home base for an amazing time in Trogir and Split. “We are a family of 5 and arrived late into split and needed a place to stay for the night. Check in instructions were clear and we were greeted on arrival and shown to our room even though it was late. The location of this hotel is amazing and the street is so beautiful. Just a 2 minute walk across the bridge and you are in the beautiful Trogir with so many restaurants to choose room and sites to see. The apartment was perfect and the air conditioning works so well. “Great location-literally less than a 5-minute walk to a beach and about 10 minutes to the main markets, shops, and restaurants. Just 10-15 minutes from the airport, making it convenient for early flights, I used Uber. This is a no-frills stay with a genuine local feel. As a solo traveler, I felt safe and the place was clean. The room has a mini fridge, though the bed was a bit firm. A couple of things to note: you will hear planes due to the proximity to the airport. Surprisingly as a light……
