「We loved our stay at the Places Hotel, the staff are super friendly and helpful, a special mention for Anna one of the waitresses, so very attentive and polite. There are plenty of sun beds available that are very comfortable, there is a no reservation rule which means there’s none of that getting up early to get a sun bed, the hotel is situated very close to the sea with a beach bar, the hotel is about a 15 to 20 minute walk into Stari Grad along a lovely promenade. 「Apartment is small and quite dark as its on the ground floor, but this meant it was cool even on very hot days. It's really well equipped with everything we needed. The only slight issue we found was the bells from the clock tower 50yards away, they start at 6am and stop at 10pm. Didn't cause us issues as we wake up early but not great for those who want a lie in. Location is perfect just a few mins walk to the small back streets with great restaurants and close to the harbour.」

I imagine the area might be quite busy in the summer holidays, but in mid September it was perfect. Great quiet beach opposite the hotel which meant you didnt need to go to Zlatni Rat.」
