Many beautiful and off-the-beaten historical and natural monuments are scattered in the territory around Civitavecchia. The natural park of Tolfa - at 10 mns driving - is an area of outstanding natural beauty with its wild horses, foxes, wild boars, owls, jays, hoopoes and several kinds of birds of prey.
