Perfect Weekend Away

We luckily found this cabin at the last-minute for a quick weekend getaway. Everyone in our family loved the peace and quiet this cabin offered. We were in a great location for everything we wanted: hiking, biking and watching deer in the front yard. We love being in small towns and found several local restaurants close by, delicious and friendly. We didn't want to leave!

Perfect for 2 families traveling together

I cannot say enough good things about these 2 properties and would highly recommend choosing them for your next stay. We spent much of our trip commenting about the high level of detail put into these homes. They are more impressive in person than in photos. It was the perfect set up for traveling with another family with each of us booking one of the 2 houses. Each family had our separate spaces for sleeping and getting ready but could come together each evening around the fire. We cooked and ate all meals together in the house with the larger kitchen. The owners provide a plethora of firewood for the fireplaces and enough charcoal for the grills that we utilized both on a daily basis. The surrounding property is beautiful and feels private. There is a place to hike within walking distance and many other waterfall hikes within a 7 to 25 minute drive. Our favorite hikes were at Tallulah Gorge and Minnehaha falls trail. It’s also a pretty and easy drive to Helen, GA from this location.

Wonderful!

This was a perfect place to stay! The "cottage" is just as it appears in the photos and the location is ideal especially if you want to hike. Tallulah Gorge, Moccasin SP, Black Rock Mt. SP, Panther Creek Trail and more are all close by or if you just want to get away from it all, sit on the porch and relax! Would love to stay again in the future!

Blueberry patch

This property was charming and close to the Georgia state parks for hiking. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped and the property was clean. Upon arrival, we noticed a strong scent coming from multiple plug ins so we took those out, and some rugs on the floor would have been nice. The hvac system was not easy to operate. We had a wonderful stay in this cabin.

Weekend Getaway

This property was perfect for us! The unit was very comfortable and well decorated. We really enjoyed the front porch and outdoor fireplace! The close proximity to Panther Creek Trail was awesome. Our only complaint would be the wifi. It seemed to be very slow. Regardless, we would consider staying there again in the future!

Awesome place to stay close to the hiking trails

Very nice and clean cottage just off the beaten path but close enough to Clayton to run and grab dinner. My kids love the layout of the cabin. We enjoyed tallulah gorge and the trails that surround it. Would definitely stay there again.

Very clean

Close to lots of activities and very clean. On first glance, we were concerned that we were going to hear a lot of road noise, but no noise inside. We did have a moment- one morning, during breakfast, the landscaping company came to spray the lawn. It would have been nice to be given a heads up, instead of noticing a man standing in the porch.

Beautiful Cabin

We absolutely loved staying here. Everything was beautiful and secluded. A nice get a way! The master shower and heated floor, a dream!! Only one thing, an extra blanket and linens for the sofa bed. Other than that, it was the best stay. So glad we chose to stay here and the Chapel too!!

Quick Family Getaway

Would definitely go back! My family decided to take a last minute, short trip to N GA and this place was perfect! The house was adorable and was very clean. We loved the outdoor fire place, wrap-around porch, and overall cozy feeling. The heated floor in the master bath was especially nice! Our girls loved the enclosed loft and that they had their own space to go to. If you are planning to stay for long, I would recommend bringing larger bowls (for serving), baking pans, and spices with you as these were not provided.

Amazing cabin and location

My husband and I traveled to Clarkesville, Ga. to visit our daughter and grandchildren. We had an amazing stay at this beautiful cabin. Everything was perfection! We will plan to stay again in the near future.

Location, Location, Location!

Stayed here with my teen boys and husband for 3 nights and the location is amazing. You are so close to so many great spots.. hiking, tubing, restaurants, quaint cities and of course amazing views! House is very new/updated. We had two minor issues but all was resolved very quickly. Communication with owner/management was extremely prompt from start to finish.
