「This rental went above and beyond our expectations. The house is much nicer and bigger in person. The amenities are extraordinary. You 1,000% get what you pay for and then some! 10 out of 10 recommend and we will be back! 」

「Great spot just down the street from the boat dock. House was clean and worked well for 8 of us. Not sure you could sleep 12 unless you brought air mattresses. Breaker kept blowing in the kitchen, but easy access to flip it back on. Host was wonderful, provided great communication and very flexible. Would Recommend for a fun lake weekend!」

「The stay was great! The Konza Prairie Hike was beautiful! Love Mankato! Plenty of good restaurants close by. The home was nice, just as advertised. I would say that the only negative was that I wrote a nice “Thank You” note for the owners, which never garnered even the slightest acknowledgment. We listed a couple of small items that needed repair (certainly did not detract from the stay) - no reply. Other than that, a terrific stay! I’d rate the overall experience 4/5.」

「The owner bent over backwards for our every request and inquiry. The house was beautiful inside and out. There was every small appliance and utensil you could ask for. The bedrooms were perfect for a large family. Very close to a great beach. The outdoor shower was a big hit. 」

「Wonderful home. All of the amenities were in great working order, if we ever had a question or problem, the owner/property manager was super responsive. For those planning to do cooking on site basic equipment was there. May want to check cabinets before planning all of your menus. 」

「Our family had a wonderful time staying here with easy access to Junction City, Fort Riley, Manhattan, and Abilene. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The location is convenient and quiet with just a little noise from passing traffic on I-70. 」

「We came in from the Chicago area to spend the 4th with our son who is stationed at Fort Riley. It was a wonderful time and the house made it perfect. The house had everything we needed to host our son and some of his friends for a barbecue. So many details that could be missed were all there! When we come back to the area to visit our son, we hope to stay there again! Thanks for a wonderful weekend!」

Checked on us a couple of times through our stay and was extremely available and helpful at each turn of all processes. The property is beautiful and well kept, comfortable and private. 」

「We had a great stay. The home was great gor our group. It had all of the necessities that we needed. it was clean and comfortable. 」

「What a special place to stay for a couple’s getaway! Room was perfect. Owners add all the special amenities to the room, including games, ice, filtered water, books and so much more. Loved the view from our room! We also got to enjoy the property with fishing, hiking and kayaking. Was really sad to leave! Hope to visit again! 」

「Nestled in trees, quiet, peaceful area. Loved the hammocks under the trees! The lake can be seen through the trees, but no close access to the water. Kitchen had everything needed. Plenty of clean towels & paper goods. Bedding was clean and comfy. Enjoyed all the windows and the view. It was enjoyable to on the deck. Great weekend stay with girlfriends! 」
