After seeing some of the neutral to negative reviews I was somewhat skeptical but at this price point, this place is really hard to beat. Yes the property is not directly on the lake- and those complaining of that, it's clearly described in the details. There is a view of the lake across the street. “The house is very well maintained, the pool and hot tub were very clean and and fun for the family. Lots of chairs for the pool. Located on a quiet channel of the lake - no noisy boats coming through. Use of the paddle boat and the kayaks are a really fun addition. Host is very communicative. We left a watch on accident and she was helpful in getting it back. Check out/cleaning directions were very reasonable. “This was the cutest and perfect retreat during a hectic week of preparation leading up to my daughter’s wedding. We LOVED sitting out on the balcony just looking at the water. The gas grill made dinners easy, and we even took a spin in the kayaks. Highly recommended. ”
