"The hosts were extremely welcoming. Very on top of things with communications - especially in light of inclement weather conditions at the beginning and the end of my stay! The property was in great shape and everything was in order. The kitchen is nicely appointed, the bed was good, the heat worked great, the water pressure was great, and it was easy check in and out. It is an excellent location when taking a class at John C Campbell Folk School! Less than a 10 minute (really more like 5 minutes) drive away and super easy to get back and forth - just have to be aware that there is a lovely herd of deer that were always out and about when I went back and forth :) The view was lovely from the house and while it was much too cold for me to sit outside - there are great places to sit and enjoy nature when the weather allows. Thanks to Apryl and Daniel for the hospitality and the care they give their property - Peak-A-View is on my list for the next time I'm in class at the Folk School! "

"We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful relaxing cabin! Communication with the owner was wonderful from the start. The well paved roads were a bit steep in some spots but still an easy drive in a standard SUV. We loved the cabin at first site. A large porch with rocking chairs for morning coffee with an amazing view of the mountains. We and our husky loved the one floor living space. Well appointed kitchen with everything you need, they thought of everything. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the living room is so cozy with the fireplace and views for miles. We have stayed in many cabins over the last 15 years and this cabin is definitely in the top 3. "

The cabin was so cute—charming, cozy, and exactly what you picture when you think of a peaceful retreat. Everything was clean, well cared for, and thoughtfully set up to make it feel comfortable and welcoming.The location was quiet and serene, making it easy to truly unplug and enjoy the season. It was also very fairly priced for the quality and experience, especially during the holidays, which we really appreciated.This cabin made our Christmas extra special, and we would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a cozy, affordable escape in the mountains!"

"It was a wonderful very pet friendly getaway. The hot tub and creek were amazing. Our dobies had a blast playing in the water. The place is all fenced in so they played forever. Close drive to Helen ga and blue ridge ga for some scenic views and shopping. Clean and welcoming peaceful vacation spot. We will stay here again."
