This is our 4th stay at this rental and as always, it is just what we need. Close to everything but peaceful and quiet. It also has everything you need to prep for meals, make coffee and sit out under the trees and listen to nature. It is clean and perfect for our weekend stays. Will rent again for our next trip to Clayton.

Cute and perfect location
Property was great, neat, clean, and quiet. Close enough to downtown to walk when we wanted, but also far enough to drive and not feel bad about it. Haha. Will stay again in the future.

Great place! This is our 3rd time to stay at this rental. Perfect for our needs. Close to everything yet still in an area of town that is quiet as if you were on acres of land. Very clean and has everything you need. Pet friendly. Will be booking again soon. The Woods Family

Thanksgiving Family Getaway
This home was great for our family of 4. We were very close to Clayton and other areas. We went to visit my mother who lives in Mountain City. My siblings all brought their families to visit as well, so we needed somewhere close, to not have to drive too far to visit, but that was also accommodating for a family with small kids(age 1 and 6). It had everything we needed. If for any reason you need to buy any groceries or need to shop for anything there are options near by. The owner answers any questions you have very fast and is very helpful. Its a nice home away from home. If we ever need a place to stay when visiting Georgia, this is a place I would definitely stay again.

Great Location!
We enjoyed our stay, until the day before departure. A man knocked loudly on the front door. It scared us because we were not expecting anyone. He was w/ the management property and wanted to do yard work. We unfortunately agreed, and got to hear a leaf blower for the rest of the afternoon. We would of given a 5 star review if that had not occurred. W/ that said, we want to end on a positive note. The bed was ahhhhhmazing! So comfortable, especially after our long hikes. We enjoyed playing games and listening to the record player. The kitchen was adequate w/ regards to appliances. It was also well stocked. We were able to prepare most of our meals. The cabin is secluded, BUT w/ i walking distance to the town. Again, great location. We also really loved the decor of the cabin. We believe most people will enjoy their stay! We hope this review helps everyone!

Nice Place
Stayed for 3 weeks to get away from heat in Florida. Secluded area yet with neighbors around. Quiet. Friendly neighbors. Met several. We cooked a lot at the house because we eat plant based. Would have liked a little more in way of kitchen utensils but did fine with what was there. There were 3 restaurants in the historic downtown area that had a vegan dish and they were all good - Fortify Pi, Universal Joint, and Hush. Many areas to hike and falls are everywhere it seems. There is a very active indoor pickleball club there. People play everyday of the week and it is free. The group is very welcoming to visitors. We had a very nice time.

Fantastic bungalow in a great location!
We loved the house…the decor, the front porch, the privacy, and the location. Internet was great, and we loved walking to town. We’d go back! Plus Clayton was a fantastic small town with amazing food everywhere we went. Great all around experience!

Close to downtown and easy drive to Lake Burton.
We stayed here so as not to overcrowd our family home at Lake Burton. Location is great, cabin as advertised. Wi-Fi signal was strong enough for online meetings and conferences. Easy to jog and get around.

Perfect for Clayton
My husband and I loved spending our anniversary weekend at the cabin. It was near Clayton but in a pocket of trees so that it feels like you are all by yourself. We want to stay here again :)

Great place with a great location!
Stayed in Clayton for the week and this was the perfect private getaway. Everything was clean and king bed was very comfortable. Heather responded to any questions quickly. Was so close to town with lots of great restaurants and shopping. Front porch was so relaxing. Lots to do nearby with a short drive. . Will definitely be back.

Location Location
This place is quiet, quaint and close to all that Clayton has to offer. Close to Dillard and Franklin as well. The house is extremely clean and well kept. Master bed was very comfortable. Will definitely stay here the next time we’re in Clayton. Even had 4 deer in back yard one evening. Pretty cool.

Great anniversary trip!

Winter Break @ Rabun Retreat
We enjoyed our time at the cabin. It was everything we needed for our two week stay. Being close to downtown Clayton was great for easy access to Main Street activities. Would stay again!

WHAT A GREAT GETAWAY
What a perfect place for a getaway. This home was exactly as advertised in this charming little town of Clayton. Heather was awesome, answering any questions I had in prompt fashion. Our home for the week had great amenities and awesome little touches. Bed was incredibly comfortable, ample, high quality towel supply. a great rainforest showerhead, top of the line silverware, and more. We did some great hiking (Tellulah Falls was our favorite), sampled some spirits at Moonrise Distillery and wine at 12 Spies Winery. ate at several awesome restaurants (Fortify Pi, Julep Kitchen, Blue Canoe (half hour away), and more)! Everyone in town is super-friendly as we did not run into one rude person. And what great foliage! If you're looking for a nice escape, this home more fits the bill. Comfortable relaxing getaway
Enjoyed our long weekend at this cute place with country exterior and modern interior. Relaxed on the screened in porch and enjoyed the comfy bed. Very clean on the inside. Porch and gutters could use a little TLC but perfect location to food and activities. Very private with plenty of parking. We even went to the drive in. Can’t wait to run away from the city to this home again.

Cute house in woods but near Clayton
This cute little house had everything. It was in a natural setting surrounded by woods with a private, isolated feeling but an easy 10 minute walk to town. The house has been redone in a chic modern feel with all the amenities of a full kitchen, washer /dryer, fire pit, screened porch. The host was very responsive and easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay again.

Wonderful stay in Clayton
Heather was very easy to communicate with. House is very cute, she thought of all the little extras. A record player, books, magazines, dvd’s were all provided for us to use. Our trip was too short to enjoy all of these. Location feels private but a quick walk to downtown (if you are so inclined). Would definitely stay again if property is available.

This place offered more than we thought with a great price! Would definitely book here again. Went for a quick weekend trip up to the mountains to a nearby drive-in movie theater. Quick communication with the owner with any concerns. Great directions, because the house and drive are a little secluded.

The house it’s surrounded by beautiful trees, the neighborhood it’s great the house was pretty well equipped for comfort specially the beds they’re great like sleeping on a cloud. The person that cleans the house does an incredible job bcs is immaculate. Kitchen is nicely equipped.. love the screen porch, and having the washer n dryer perfect! Thank you we enjoyed this place

Perfect Space for a quiet stay in Clayton
We loved our stay at this property. It was very clean, very well decorated and felt very homey and comfortable. The bedding and mattress was very comfortable and I slept so good while there. I also loved the front enclosed porch space. We would love to stay here again.

Great stay
We had a great stay/experience. The property is very nicely decorated and appointed. The kitchen and amenities were so thoughtfully done that it greatly enhanced our experience. Between the multiple coffee options to the record player in the family room (with some great oldies!), we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It is a couple of minute drive to downtown Clayton and has quick access back to 441 if you are going elsewhere. The in-town brewery and distillery should not be missed. Fortify Pi was a home run too. All in all, a great vacation!

Maybe the best rental I've eperienced
Great location: beautiful hikes; neat little town with excellent restaurants; easy walk to town; and the feeling of being surrounded by nature despite being so close to the activity. And one other plus I haven't seen others mention: best lighting among all rentals to date. This is a big help or readers particularly since excessive rain kept me from doing as many trails as I would have liked.

Really cool town
The house was exactly as shown and described. Great location to Main St where all the action is. Small town with big town entertainment, we were not at all left wanting and were still able to completely unwind and disconnect from our normal day to day stress. Dog friendly restaurants and places, couldn’t have asked for a single thing more. Host let us know she was completely available if we needed anything; we will be back we really had a great stay.

Hidden gem

Enjoyed our visit. On Saturday morning we walked downtown to the Clayton Cafe for breakfast. After breakfast we walked to the local farmer's market. House was exactly as described.

Wonderful Home close to downtown Clayton
Beautiful property located within walking distance of downtown Clayton. The house was snug and well organized, and the property itself was fantastic, so scenic and pretty! Definitely a worthwhile stay if you're up in North Georgia!
