Perfect spot in Clayton

Perfect spot to explore Clayton and several N Ga wineries. Very clean and provides everything we needed including a full kitchen. Could easily stay here for a week. Lovely Mountain View. Owner is very friendly!

Frank was very friendly from the beginning. Check in was smooth. Walked us over to our room. Went through everything and let us know to contact him if we needed anything. Room was nice and clean. Air conditioning worked very well and was very quiet. Site was very peaceful and relaxing. You are given the impression that you are a guest, not just a “customer”. Highly recommended.

This is one of the nicest properties I have stayed at. I travel frequently and stay in the large chain hotels. It is refreshing to stay in a warm, cottage style property. The owner is on site and takes pride in providing the best experience. I highly recommend the Mountain Aire!

Everything about the cottage we stayed in was perfect. There's not a detail that wasn't planned. We got on the road later than anticipated and Frank was kind and accommodated our late arrival. He gave us a tour of our cabin and educated us on how everything worked. Before he left he gave awesome recommendations on dinner! We ate at the universal joint which was delicious. I was surprised to see there was coffee and creamer in the cabinet. That was a great touch. This property is homey and welcoming. Can't wait to get back and visit again.

Great location not far from center of Clayton. Location made choice of dining and shopping easy. Old time hospitality and service. Frank is an amazing owner/InnKeeper. Though accommodations are dated, I think that’s part of the charm and everything was comfortable and well maintained. Coffee pot and mini fridge in room were super convenient. We’ll come again!

A little home away from home

This was a one-day trip since I had hiked all day long I didn't want to drive back to Atlanta so I called and booked this cottage Frank was wonderful and helpful. It is close to Black Rock Mountain State Park which was perfect since that's where I had done my last hike. I highly recommend them. They have numerous cabins that offer something for everyone. Beautifully decorated and clean.

Hidden Gem!!

It was fantastic! Owner met us checking in and walked us to our room. He walked us through everything in the room and when he was done, he gave tons of great things to do and see (which we did stop and see the water falls at the state park). Everyday, checked in on us to make sure we didn’t need anything. I can not recommend enough the stay Clayton!!

Nice and cozy

Enjoyed our stay here! The room gave a cabin feel to it and was clean. At first some of the display in the office made me worry, but Frank, the owner was exceptionally nice and that helped us to comfortably put it behind us. He gave us a tour of not only our room but amenities on the property as well. He also gave us some recommendations of things to do in the area. I knew that he was busy before our arrival, and for him to take his time and do that meant a lot. A worker also greeted us when leaving, asking if we needed anything before leaving. If I am in the area, I would stay here again.
