Favorite Place to Stay
Great home in a great location! We’ve stayed here two times and it will be our top choice for future trips. Perfect for a weekend or a longer stay. Comfortable beds and plenty of room to hang out.

perfect cabin for a nice getaway
Cabin was perfect. Very nicely done up. Kitchen was well stocked and beds were very comfortable. I took myself and my two boys on a whitewater rafting trip and I think they will have fond memories of this trip. The cabin was the icing on the cake.

Very cute and organized cabin with everything you could possibly need!!!
Overall loved the cabin! Beautiful view and great location!!! We couldn’t figure out how to get the fire place to work and even looked up the manual. Check in and check out process was not available on the app. There was a laminated sheet with information at the cabin. We had trouble texting the property manager for further information- but that may have been a VRBO app issue. There was a power outage at 6 am, but it restored in a few minutes. Likely a neighborhood wide issue. Be aware that the cabin has no curbside trash pickup so we had to take our trash to a local dumpster. Cabin was comfortable and kitchen was fully equipped! We really enjoyed our stay here!! Would definitely recommend staying!

The email I send upon registration and the email VRBO sends prior to check-in is the best resource including a YouTube video for the fireplace and my direct number. Great mountain retreat
This home was very clean, spacious for multiple guests, and made you feel like you are in a cabin. The outside does not look like a cabin, but the inside has wooden walls and ceiling and is decorated like a cabin- very pretty and homey. I would definitely come back or recommend to friends. Very close drive to downtown Clayton too, but can’t hear traffic from the house.

End of the year trip
This cabin was very clean and well equipped. Communication with Greg was great, he replied quickly. We had a great time during our stay. Near by places to visit julep farms, stonewall creek winery, sunburst adventures, Minnehaha falls.

Beautiful cabin
Wonderful place to stay! The only negative thing I can say is that there’s no where for you to throw your trash away since there’s no curbside pickup, you have to take your trash with you. This becomes very difficult when you have a car packed of kids and suitcases. Still worth the hassel

Church Bell Mountain
We walked into Christmas! The holiday decorations were a pleasant surprise!! Super clean and the beds are so cushy and comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked and clean. Bathrooms immaculate and we loved the sound of the Church Bell chimes on the porch...what a sweet sound. We will visit again....

Quiet and relaxing!
This property is convenient to the town of Clayton. We found it very clean and will furnished. The neighborhood is very quiet, and we had a very relaxing time. I would definitely recommend this property!

Great place to get away!
Easy check in, location is 5 min from downtown but feels like you're in the middle of nowhere. We spent 80% of our time on the porch, it was so relaxing. The cabin is fully stocked with everything you need, and the layout is great.

clean, spacious & great location for our itinerary
We were pleasantly surprised w how spacious the home was. And clean! Nice layout. My family of 4 came for a quick 3 day end of summer getaway, specifically to do whitewater rafting in Chattooga River & this home was perfect as it was just 20 minutes to the river. Relaxing w some sweet tea on those rockers w that mountain view was a bonus! We saw deers! I had 1 inquire & Greg answered it right away. The beds were really comfortable. Something we never find in other rentals. It was also well stocked. Cute little town w a few good restaurants just 5 minutes away. We found a Drive In movie about 20 mins away that my tween kids got a kick out of . We definitely will stay here again if we ever visit Clayton GA again.

We really enjoyed our stay!
The house was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. We spent quite a bit of time taking in the beautiful view from the covered porch and had our coffee out there every morning. The location was so peaceful and quiet and we felt like we were secluded in the woods, but the house is actually just outside of town. We will definitely book another stay in the future.

Great Stay, Very Cozy, Clean and Accomodating
We had 4 adults and 2 teen boys in our group. They were going off to camp in Mount Rest, SC and we wanted to stay in the area for the weekend before we dropped them off. The house was super cute, super clean and met all of our needs. The owner was super accommodating when we asked for an early check in and late check out to help with our schedule for camp. He was super responsive and very easy to deal with. The house was stocked with everything you need and very beautifully renovated with a cute mountain theme. This property is highly recommended.

Perfect house with stunning view
My family and I absolutely loved our stay. The house was immaculate upon arrival and fully stocked with everything you’ll need during your stay. Special “getaway” with special people!
Location was very good for short day trips and cabin was easy to get to. Enjoyed sitting on the big front porch - with a Mountain View (looked as shown on website). Cabin was clean and plenty spacious for the 5 adults in our group (ages 72 - 80) - we liked having everything on one level (only about 6 steps to get up to the front porch/door). Very enjoyable stay and would like to do so again.

Peaceful Retreat

The day we were to arrive at the property there was problem with the water at the house. Greg called to let me know that the house was unusable for our dates but he very kindly contacted another property owner in the area who had a vacant house and we were able to stay at that house instead. A huge thank you to Greg for going above and beyond to keep our trip from being cancelled.

I think the cabin could have been cleaner, previously used soap in the bathrooms was gross.
I cleaned the counter tops before we used the kitchen, they were pretty nasty, also I scrubbed the master bath tub and got the ring out of it before it was used for a bath. We killed a HUGE. Black widow spider. One positive is, we arrived about 1/2 an hour early, it was ok for us to go in, snd this is the first time the owner actually left us alone.

I'm shocked because we've been renting the home for 5 years and this is the first review or response from a renter that it wasn't cleaned upon their arrival. In fact, in most of our 118 5-STAR reviews the renters mention cleanliness as one of the things they liked about our home. I wish you had contacted me upon your arrival and we could have taken care of this immediately.

Great spot!
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here. It is in a wonderful spot, feels secluded but easy to get to. Great views of the Fall colors. The house has the feeling of home, with everything you need to enjoy your stay. Will definitely visit again!

Perfect getaway
We had a lovely stay in this mountain house. The kitchen is well equipped, beds are comfortable and couches are perfect for watching movies. They have plenty of extra sheets and towels. It was far enough away from civilization without going too far. We never heard the neighbors. Nice view from the porch. Well done.

Excellent Location
This house is located just a few minutes from town yet feels secluded. One of the most well stocked VRBO properties in which we've stayed! Nice to actually have TP and such instead of having to run out to get basic necessities. Great communication with owner and check-in worked flawlessly. Master bed and bath are spacious. Definitely recommend.

Home in the hills
We had a great stay at this nice property just outside of Clayton. The large front porch was a nice place to rock in the chairs and relax. Just far enough from town but not too far! Lots of room and bright!

Best birthday weekend
We came down for a birthday weekend and couldn’t have been more happy with this beautiful place! Our days started with coffee on the wonderfully appointed front porch watching the sun come up over the Mountain View right in front of you and it ended out there too listening to the silence of this perfectly located place. You feel away from it all but you can actually be in the center of it all in less than five minutes. Thank you for the best birthday stay!
