Beautiful, well-appointed home.

We stayed in Suncadia to celebrate my parents milestone anniversary. We were very impressed with the generous supply of quality cooking utinsels, coordinating platters and other serving dishes, and other miscellaneous food related needs. The upstairs got a little warm, but the little fans provided in the bedrooms were very helpful.

Absolutely perfect!

Fantastic location for a family weekend! Can’t say enough about all the amenities, game room and bikes. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked with everything needed to cook and serve family meals. Bbq and hot tub were ready to use as well. The pictures don’t quite do it justice, beautiful home! Thank you for a great Father’s Day weekend!

Great house for family

We had a great time with the house. We made all our food and the kitchen was really well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, etc. The hot tub was awesome. We brought games, but spent a lot of time in the rec room too. We rented the house to get away and spend time together just hanging out, and this was a great place to do it.

Great family getaway

This was an amazing place for family time.Very well stocked for those who love to cook. Loved the outdoor eating and seating area. The bikes were great and i would definitely rent this again but hopefull longer than 4 days!

Excellent care given to making this stay enjoyable.

We thought much thought and care had gone into making this an enjoyable stay. The home was well stocked. Information was readily available for care of the home. It was very clean. The beds were comfortable. Communication with the owners was easy and they were always quick to communicate. No complaints here!

Loved our stay!

We had a fun two day sibling reunion. The house was perfect for four couples! The fire pit was a wonderful plus, house is beautiful, and was exceptionally clean! The hosts were great. Would love to go back again!

Perfect home for our family vacation

This house is absolutely amazing and was perfect for our family (8 adults, 4 kids). The house is stocked with everything you need and the game/play room was a huge hit with the kids. We enjoyed the bicycles on the many paved paths in this beautiful community. Thank you for the opportunity to spend the week here!

What a wonderful house!!

The house is beautiful in all ways! We enjoyed all the many, many amenities, especially the toys in the garage and the hot tub. It was good for watching football also. Would highly recommend it. John and Laurie were very responsive.

Perfect place for a getaway!

We celebrated my 40th birthday with friends here and this was the perfect venue for it. Very spacious, clean, and well stocked with anything and everything you could possibly need (including a hot tub, fire pit and full game garage with bikes, helmets etc for a group of 12!) The hosts have really thought of it all. We will be back!

Mountain Christmas

Relaxing, enjoyable, beautiful, memorable...the perfect holiday vacation. The home was beautiful, clean and handled our large family with ease. Ping Pong and foosball tournaments in the garage and minute to win it games in the house. The kitchen and amenities were well stocked - the hosts thought of everything. This is a GREAT rental.

5/5 in every way

I am so impressed in every way how renting and staying at this home was fantastic. Laurie was over-the-top helpful. I am extremely picky about cleanliness and I'd give this place a 10+/10. The furniture and beds were comfortable. Even though we did not have kids stay with us on this trip, this place is perfect for families of all ages with plenty of games, gear, and activities for all. I would stay there again and highly recommended this place to others as well.

Would rent again!

We loved this house, John and Laurie were very easy to commucate with and the house is stocked very well. The random baskets of blankets in each room was a nice addition to make it a cozy winter stay for us. The microwave and oven seemed to not seamlessly heat but not a big deal what so ever!

Wonderful wedding weekend

We rented both of the properties from John and Laurie for our wedding weekend at Suncadia. John and Laurie were so helpful and responsive. Also, their homes were well supplied with everything we needed, including crock pots! I can’t say enough great things about our weekend in their warm and beautifully decorated homes.

Family fun in Suncadia

We have been staying at Suncadia a few nights each summer with kids and extended family, and this house is a new favorite. The layout is great and everyone loved the garage game room. The back patio with hot tub and firepit with the large concrete pad functions well with kids. The bunk room is a great sleeping space for kids and is nicely separated at the end of the hall. A whole lot of thoughtful touches are in this house (storage, snuggly blankets, bath toys, kids play table, bug spray, beach towels, games) that made traveling with a large group + kids just easy.

5 Stars for Treasure

We booked this home for a birthday weekend getaway with friends. It was absolutely perfect. We had everything we needed to cook gourmet meals and appreciated the many amenities available. Having extra blankets, towels, pantry items, etc. made it feel like home. The beds and linens were super comfortable and we loved the hot tub. The Christmas decorations were a lovely touch too! This was the first Suncadia trip for some of our guests and we’ve all agreed we’d love to come back and stay again next year. Thank you John and Laurie!

Dream home in the mountains

What a beautiful home! John and Laurie really thought of everything to make this an unforgettable stay. The house is beautifully decorated with loads of small details that make all the difference. It also comes with all the appliances, cookware and utensils that you need to cook large meals. We were a party of 10 and actually had our wedding ceremony here. Just my wife and I and our closest family and friends. It was a dream wedding in front of the fireplace. A day we won’t forget, in a place we’ll always remember. We spent the evenings just relaxing in the jacuzzi or with a ping-pong tournament in the well equipped garage aka. game room. The nature around is Suncadia is beautiful as well. Lots of lakes and hiking trails to explore. I would give this house 15 stars if I could. We’re already planning on coming back for our first anniversary!

Family Weekend

The house was absolutely gorgeous! There was 7 adults and 3 young kids and we had plenty of room! It had so many great amenities (lots of towels, soap, shampoo, blankets, robes, etc) and unexpected extras (such as mayo, hot sauce, foil, ziploc bags, seasonings, etc. We had brought our own but it was nice to know that if we forgot something they had it!). We very much loved the garage playroom. They had all the advertised games/equipment and plenty of different sizes to accommodate all ages! We tried almost all the games and used the sleds, bikes and scooters!! We didn't get a chance to try the snowshoes because the weather conditions weren't quite right but would have love to try them!) We used the hot tub both days! The kitchen table was big enough for all of us and the grandkids loved the stools by the island! Someone was almost always sitting in front of the huge gas fireplace! We used the dryer every day to dry off the wet clothes (from sledding!), towels and bathing suits! The homeowners responded quickly to all our questions and made sure we had all the information we needed for the stay! We had an awesome weekend.

Beautiful 5 Star Home and Very Clean!!!

We loved the well thought out layout of this home with many seating areas for family members to gather both inside and out!! The garage game room was a BIG hit with plenty of high quality mountain bikes (our other family members homes they rented didn’t have any bikes!) foosball, table tennis and skee ball! An added plus was that it was rugged and felt just like an extension of the home! We have stayed in many other homes through VRBO and this one was probably the most well stocked of any home we have been in! The homeowners offered many different types of kitchen appliances which provided all the comforts of home and more! Plenty of dishes, silverware, cups, serving pieces etc., to feed an army!! There were amenities galore!!! Also we loved how the homeowners were excellent communicators and very conscientious that everything was just perfect for us!! I loved their attention to detail and organized notes so we knew exactly what was expected and answered all of our questions for us! Thank you Laurie and John for sharing your lovely home with us!!! Comfort, considerate, communicative, the hosts really thought of everything!

This was the most well-appointed, comfortable, and memorable home I’ve ever stayed at! From the time I booked the listing (which was almost a year in advance) Laurie was communicative and so helpful. They let me know what to expect and provided helpful instructions along the way. We stayed for Christmas and the home was beautifully (and seemingly professionally) decorated with tree fit for a New York 5th Avenue display and decorations throughout the house. It made the holiday that much more magical. About it’s appointments: spacious common areas, comfortable rooms, and everything you could think of or need was there (down to the ice scrapers and shovels that came in handy with the below zero temps and snow we got)! The house is also well designed with youth spaces above and below on one wing of the house, so they had a fun and spacious spot upstairs to themselves (which is a dream for 5 kids ages 5-11) as well as the garage which their space is over that has many games and activities. There’s also a heater in the garage converted to activity area so you can keep it warm during cold temps. This made the adult/kid time wonderful too as the spaces are strategically separated enough for both to coexist. All of our family commented on how wonderful all the accommodations were (ages 5 to 85) so it’s perfect for just about anyone! Thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality and welcoming home. We’d love to stay again here or at your other property in the future.
