restaurant was closed for dinner, bar not open, no store for snacks. No amenities. Room was clean but windows were filty. Room had been remodeled but there were areas that had not been touched and were in bad shape such as the crawl space access in the closet which had rot

Room 212 exhaust fan was a bit noisy so I requested a better room. The guest service lady kind of searched but no more room available. I find it strange that when I checked in, she even asked me which floor do I prefer and just after a few minutes there is no more room available. So I observed the next guests and I heard she asked them which floor they like! She's just too lazy to move me to another room! I wanted to confront her but was too tired of the trip. Also, the guest service also told me the higher the floor the noisier it gets.

The room had a smell to it. We had to switch rooms because the ac was making a loud banging noise. Although it was decent in the sense that we had two beds, the elevator worked, and the food was okay, I would not recommend this place.

The check in staff member was nice and friendly, but after she left the rest of employees were short and loud due to being disturbed from their computer screen. This was my first time visiting this Best Western in Clear Lake. As a member I've never been denied a continental breakfast. The food was being prepared for a church group only and had a closed sign outside the door. Luckily I found breakfast a cross the street at Grandpa's Cafe. It's a shame to give this Best Western a lacking review because it's beautiful and has great potential.

Room smelled like smoke and it was noisy. It was adjacent to another room through a door. I could see light from the other room under the door and conversations as if they were in my room. Very noisy and not to private
