“The outdoor spa tub was broken, the water in it was full of garbage (the kids were disappointed), there was no ping pong table like in the photo, the curtains in the living room were dirty, there was no laundry detergent (had to call for delivery) and not enough quilts ( Had to call for delivery), mice were running from the ceiling at night.”

“The location of this house is stunning. It's on a peninsula that sticks out in to Clear Lake, and then it itself is on its own little rocky promontory that sticks out from the peninsula. The house is about 50 feet up from the lake. The upshot of this is that you get an amazing view of the lake from sunrise to sunset, and due to it sticking out to the lake a bit, a lot of the local birds use the updraft it creates. “We had the opportunity to stay at this amazing house with my family and friends for our 4th annual fishing trip. The house had everything we needed to accommodate 5 adults and 3 kids. The location probably cannot get any better than that. It’s located right next to the opening of main lake access. Fish is jumping everywhere. We brought 4 bass boats and the house had parking for our truck and trailers as well as a big boat dock to fit all the boats too. Highly recommended and we hope to stay……

“Very nice property. From the instructions, it seems as if the renters had bad experiences in the past, which is really sad. The rental was very clean, location spectacular, truly million dollar views. We had a wonderful time. We hope that future renters can respect their property as their own so that the warnings don't have to seem so restrictive and negative. This is a lovely place and should be treated as such.”

“I have stayed in various properties on the Lake over the last few years. This was BY FAR the best one. Everything in the description is accurate or better. Impeccably clean, every you need, nice linens, plenty of towels, equipped kitchen, beautiful fenced back yard with fire pit. The dock was amazing and the mini-patio in the middle was a nice feature in the evenings. Host was very responsive when we wanted to extend our stay. I rate this property A+++! “I have been renting VRBO for 15+ years. This was one top notch choice. View and layout of the home is fantastic. Myself and friend love to cook, everything you would need was available. The care and upkeep of the property speaks highly of the host, who was readily available. Will definitely be going back! Great location for a bay area get away.”

“This cabin was exactly what we needed for our short fishing trip at Clearlake. We had a boat and trailer with us and there was plenty of room to park our trailer and turn it around easily. The house is located minutes from a boat launch and had a few restaurants and a small market within walking distance. There’s even a small boat launch in back of the property for kayaks or other small watercraft and you could fish the canal if you’d like—though when we were there the water level was a little……
