“We booked this property with the event of the polar express planned on Saturday. We checked in Friday night and the house was wonderful. I really enjoyed the journal that was left to write notes about guests stay. I thought there would be a lot more to do in town but we couldn’t find much of anything of interest at the time, so we ended up leaving early Saturday evening.”

“We love this place, 4th time staying and more to come. There are several options of places to relax with true sounds of nature. As the title says, Peaceful.”

“Facility was clean. It is an older building but fairly well maintained. The owner lives only a few feet away. Very quiet neighborhood, which was want we wanted. Having the creek and the fire pit nearby was very nice. However, the junked cars on the neighbor's property do not add to the ambiance.”

“The cottage was super cute, a great place for a much-needed girl's weekend away. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and the coffee and snacks were a special treat. The only issue we had was finding the house the first day, we arrived after dark and had trouble finding the gravel driveway to the cottage. We had an amazing weekend exploring Bedford.”

“My husband and I were looking for a nice place to stay while we helped our daughter move to Bedford. We were so delighted that this place was available and we were not disappointed. The cottage is perfect for two. We cannot say enough about how clean it was or how beautifully it was decorated. We had everything we needed including some much needed rest after watching our two grand-daughters all day. Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful home. We plan on returning soon.”

“Christian was a very gracious host. Her home is very nice, very clean and very well appointed. She really thought of everything that guests could want both inside and out. I met a friend from Pittsburgh here and we spent a long weekend golfing at Cacapon State Park Resort (which was also a very nice place). Christian's home was only ~20' or so away. I will stay at Christian's home again when we meet to golf.”

“We really enjoyed the property. It was clean. Internet worked well. Washer and dryer was nice. Too cold to enjoy the hot tub for me. My suggestions are a new shower head, thank goodness I didn’t have to wash my hair. The flow is too spread out and not enough to efficiently rinse as you shower. Second is a cheaper Kcup machine would be nice. Traveling with ground coffee is not really ideal for a quick trip away. Third thing I suggest is two beach towels (minimum) for the use of the hot tub.
