“Would never recommend this place. I will never darken their doors! Fina straw was we asked for an hour later checkout, which I have never been denied!!! I was told NO!! One more hour wit grandchildren would of been priceless and made all of the terrible stuff go away”

“Good hot tub, excellent breakfast, and clean comfy rooms. Location between coffee and food was a bonus! Parking lot was rough, and muddy, but understandable considering the area. If you can get a room on the back side; much quieter as opposed to the front where idling diesel trucks are started at 4am and are noisy. Did have another small complaint; why are the housekeepers starting to clean rooms and talking loud in the hallways before 7am??”

“The building is older and very run down on the outside - we were questioning whether we wanted to go inside. We checked out the room and it seemed fine. A note to the hotel; Please ask the cleaners to clean the coffee pot and dump out the old grinds, we are tea drinkers, so it was pretty gross. I would also consider changing the 1970's bathroom floor with all the old cigarette burns in it. Otherwise, the room was clean and quiet.”

“Always good to stay at Cow Lake. Easy check-in and out. Friendly staff. Cabin could use an update and add a few amenities to the room like shampoo, body wash, and better hand soap for the bathroom, an initial supply of coffee & coffee filters. The General store has everything you need. Bed is comfortable. Wifi and TV was great. Lots of space. Our pups were very comfortable. Nice quiet spot if you are looking for a friendly place to hang out. ”

“Lovely place. Tucked away in the mountains, close to plenty of fun hikes and wilderness adventures, as well as a pleasant little town full of rural Alberta charm. The cabin is closely adjacent to a couple other cabins so don't expect complete isolation, but that said, we never saw any of the other guests. Cabin was clean, pristine, and well-equipped with two separated sleeping areas, making it perfect for two friends traveling together, which was the case for us.Going to add my voice to the……

“Just a beautiful spot! The cabin is very new and clean. It had everything we needed for a weekend getaway. The private wood fire sauna is the best! Very friendly and helpful hosts. ”

“Everything was great. The only thing was I wish it was more secluded as we were on o farm and there is a fuel tank and a boat next to the cabin and we were looking at a shed and a old truck out the front. The river was a bit of a walk away. All and all it was a fun stay ”

“Our hosts were fabulous to work with. They responded quickly to any questions and were very accommodating. The property was gorgeous! We would highly recommend for weddings or functions. The home had everything we needed and more. The beds were so COMFY! I don’t know if it was all the activities, the linens or what but we all slept so well.
