I aim to be unbiased, but this stay was disappointing, and I hope this helps others avoid a similar experience. To preface, my mother missed the pet fee when booking, but we resolved it on-site, so that’s irrelevant. After a 14hr drive, my mother, wife, and I arrived late with our dog, having informed the host earlier. We were ready to rest, but within five minutes, we were told we couldn’t……

“We loved our stay! Our host was very attentive which made our check in and out, easy. The house was FULLY stocked which was a huge plus. We would absolutely consider renting again on our next trip.Although it did not detract from the overall stay, I would like to warn guests (especially older guests) of the raised dining room, which you can see in the property photos. It is elevated above the kitchen and the living room areas and the two floor levels blend in seamlessly. Even knowing the step……

“We booked this property months in advance specifically because the listing stated it slept 5. After we booked, the listing was changed (at various points it showed “sleeps 2” or “sleeps 4”) and the price dropped. Despite the confusion, we kept our reservation.When we arrived, there were not enough towels or bedding for 5 people. One person on the trundle had no bedding at all.
