During one of the hottest periods in Seattle's history, the portable unit was not sufficient to keep the home comfortable. This distinction should have been clearly disclosed in the listing before booking.We were also sent an extensive list of house rules and restrictions……

“I filtered for an entire place, but this is actually a basement unit with people living above, which greatly affected privacy and noise. You can clearly hear upstairs activity, even toilet flushing, which defeats the purpose of a private rental.I booked this stay so I could cook, but there is no oven and no freezer (not disclosed). “This was one of the best I have stayed at in a long time. Super clean, had anything and everything I needed. Fully stocked kitchen. Bed was very comfy, AC was a wonderful treat and the hot tub was clean and pristine. The location is close to shops, groceries and restaurants. I am local and went for a solo getaway. This will be a return spot for sure. Highly recommend.”

“Suitable for a short stay the place itself was very clean with a nice living room and dining area. The location is in the middle of no where and the property is basically an annex on someone’s land. You can see a bit of water but the sounding views weren’t exceptional. The main draw back was the beds. One squeaked so bad every time you moved a finger that we didn’t get much sleep. Needs some upgrades for sure”

“Lovely quite location right near the ferry, and a quick drive to so much around Kingston. The hosts were kind enough to accommodate our last-minute reservation request, and we arrived to find a delightful home that worked well for our family of four, including two small kids. While there are only 2 true bedrooms, there are flexible options for a toddler. We ended up putting a pack-and-play in the windowless corridor between bedroom 2 and the laundry, and it worked perfectly for us. If your kids……
