“Ran by a wonderful couple who are really friendly and accommodating. The lodge is in a beautiful location and the facilities and room are lovely. Breakfast was included and we were asked beforehand what we wanted so it would be ready for the time we requested. And it tasted wonderful. Me and my girlfriend have visited here twice now and I'd greatly recommend a stay here.”

“Huge car park. Room was very nice. I needed a walk in shower and one phone call a little while before we were due to go sorted out a room with accessible shower. Set in a pretty village. Breakfast was really good. Evening meal very good too. Extremely pleasant staff. We booked The Waddington arms as we were going to a family wedding being held close by at the Out Barn. We would recommend this hotel to anyone who is in the clitheroe/Waddington area. A good base to explore some lovely……

The cottage was set in a lovely rural setting within easy driving distance of all the Trough of Bowland villages and walks. "I booked a triple room, but all the amenities provided were only for one person — one duvet, one towel, one cup, and one set of toiletries. This is clearly unacceptable for a triple room. I reported this to the reception and explained that it was not an urgent request, and I would be fine if the items could be delivered later in the evening. However, the staff showed a poor attitude, were unwilling to help, and simply replied that they were busy without taking any further action. On top of that, the room was dirty and did not meet basic cleanliness standards. This experience is extremely disappointing and far below expectations."
