「We stayed for one night. Great boutique hotel. Food in bar was exceptional and the morning breakfast was some of the best I’ve had in Ireland so far. I would definitely recommend the hotel.」

「I thought this property would be gorgeous from the photos and reviews online. It was extremely disappointing and our room was very very old, dirty, and dated. Everything in our room was “yellowish”, dusty, and the carpet stained and musty smelling. This spot could be beautiful but they need to upgrade. It looks like some rooms have been updated, but some like ours were stuck in the 80’s. Just a truly disappointing stay. Only positive it is in town.」

「Right in the heart of Kinsale easy walking to everything but still lovely and quiet. The room we chose was spacious -quality amenities, comfy bed, fabulous shower. I’d book here if returning to Kinsale.」

「Lovely property with views over the marina. The cafe is really nice and the baked goods excellent. They do have a lift-which is not common in guest houses—so that was helpful for the luggage. Bed was comfy with a great, warm duvet. Can recommend!」

「When we entered our assigned room, it smelled off. We opened the bathroom door and the entire ceiling and some of the wall was covered in clearly visible black mold. We returned to the front desk to ask for another room. They were very helpful. The manager showed us to a new room which was much better, but how do you allow a room to look like that and then try to rent it out? Even though they were accommodating, that put a bad taste in our mouths for the rest of our stay.」

「The hotel and staff are lovely. It is very out of the way (which is the point) but surrounded by amazing views of the mountains and lakes. Very serene and quiet. Just the place to unwind, enjoy some solitude with nature and Some lovely meals. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone.」
