Second time staying here and unfortunately, service is lacking and needs a complete overhaul.
Checking in offers no warmth or personal touch. Seems like customer service training would be welcomed to match other hotels like the Doyle collection.
Notices still up in lift about boil water service and gym pool bring closed which both were outdated.
Fridge wasn't working in the room which suggests the room wasn't properly checked or maintained by housekeeping. Had to ask for new fridge to be delivered at 10:30pm.
Several notices placed on room door to have it cleaned, served, fire safety and economy savings which was confusing. Resulted in room not being cleaned. Had to ask 3 times in person and via phone. While I understand there was a mix up, the service is questionable. Would have preferred a phone call informing me what happened to rectify rather than chasing down the staff. No breakfast menu in room upon arrival so had to search online. Again, an easy fix but unfortunately this was missed.
Service on wheat Bar also needs attention. No menus on tables, have to ask for service to order food. Just needs more attention to the customer so you're not wondering if you order at the bar or tell servers. Please note....all glasses at the bar didn't appear to be going through hot enough water and soap to get cleaned and most glasses had stains and smudges on them. Not a huge deal but something to look at as it can turn your stomach.
Please do better.
